July 2, 200619 yr ESC Today have confirmed this! :cheer: Je t'adore British release date Kate Ryan tackles the UK - again! British fans of Kate Ryan's Eurovision Song Contest 2006 entry Je t'adore will be able to buy the single in UK shops this August, Kate's team have announced. It is the second stab at UK success for the Belgian singer, and cannot have come early enough for supporters of Je t'adore eager to buy the single. The UK release of Je t'adore is planned to coincide with the release of Kate's new single Alive in Belgium on August 14th. The Eurovision Song Contest entry sees its British release a whole three months after European record shops saw the single, despite support for Kate from UK fans. Meanwhile, the song continues to enjoy placings on the Belgian, Austrian and Swedish singles charts after long spells on charts across Europe. The track has also made it onto three German compilation albums, which themselves occupied numbers 1, 2 and 4 in the albums charts, giving the hit even more international exposure. The brand new track Alive arises out of a collaboration between the two Dutch master mixers behind successes such as Chocolate Puma (currently sweeping across European clubs with the track Always and forever) and Riva (remembered best for their Dannii Minogue-led track Who do you love now). The single is expected to be well promoted in the lead-up to release in August. Second time lucky? Je t'adore is not the first of Kate's songs to be aimed to success over the Channel. Back in 2003, the singer attempted to break into the British single charts with her megahit Désenchantée, released as a double A-side with another big European track, Scream for more, both of which had already earnt her impressive chart positions across Europe. However, luck in the UK was not to be, and it is not until three years later that a second opportunity arises with Je t'adore. It is the next big step for an entry which has already enjoyed commercial. if not song contest, success.
