danwootton I can report Island Records have bn supportive of Keisha. That's the good news. This was driven by Heidi, Amelle and the band's management.

Keisha is still with Island though. She's going solo with them.

danwootton Keisha stayed in LA to try and work this out. She was prepared to make compromises to the girls so the line-up could stay in tact.

 

 

As much as I like Keisha and feel for her in this, there must have been a reason to get rid of her. Why would they fire the original member right on the brink of a new album when all the songs were recorded and artwork will have been done? It must have been a big reason for it to come to this.

If you mean manufactured in a "the girls have been put together by a label" way, then Sugababes was manufactured since the right begining. Have you not read Siobbhan recent interview? The "meeting at a party" story was 100% fake.
