Sachsen-Anhalt had a state election today. The AfD have taken 45% of the vote. The big risk is the BSW. They’re on the 5% threshold. If they fall slightly short there’s a solid chance the AfD could govern alonE which is a f***ing Absolutely horrific possibility. Part of me wants them to govern to show that they are exactly the same shite as all the other parties. They’re no „alternative“ their life will not change one bit. Why? Because the AfD have no answers for the real issues and their „cure“ is like Brexit, something that will just make the sickness worse

I do mostly agree. I think some people are „unknowingly“ entering AI, like Chris mentioned above, because it’s not all obvious slop. Maybe we can tag it as a 25 point offence on the Veto framework and if we find that it’s AI then it goes with the caveat that we will do our best to throw it out but it’s not foolproof

I understand the logic here, and I think that the idea is a solid one. Personally, my view would be that if you’re not prepared to send the track under normal circumstances then I don’t see why you should get special dispensation to protect your AQ streak because you don’t have the confidence to stand behind it. For me it sends the message that an AQ streak or result is the most important part, rather than secondary to the music discovery Open to all views. The rules I think are due for a small refresh this year after being stable for so long so happy to see what everyone thinks about stuff like this

It’s quite underwhelming given the hype, development time and cost. And it does feel like Rockstar and Sony are in cahoots here to kill off the physical game and thus kill off the second hand market so everyone is forced to buy their own copy at full price The nastiest feeling I have is locking content from the main game behind a paywall.

in the semis it’s to try to take a little bite out of the „wrong semi“ and acknowledge that to score big with a few people compared to more kinda safe uninspired stuff that is kinda just like ok to everyone is maybe someone that will find a bigger audience in the final. In the final it’s the opposite. The broad appeal carries more weight than the niche fave because it favours a track that had found more of an audience and its result is more representative of the overall view of the final

5th to 19th is a bit of a bigger drop than is ideal but that’s happened a few times lately to me, the semis being a little more concentrated has given me a few boosts on a couple of occasions Thanks Harve for a wonderful job as host!
