September 30, 200915 yr It worked! I downloaded! I voted! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Can I vote again?
September 30, 200915 yr Link: http://ema.mtv.co.uk/vote Can I vote again? Of course, as many times, as you want. That's why I believe it doesn't mean anything to them. <_<
September 30, 200915 yr Fixed? :o :o :o Surely not! :P I'm guessing whoever agrees to turn up will 'win'. That's what usually happens.
October 19, 200915 yr Author As expected, Robbie has been announced to perform at the EMA :yahoo: :yahoo: And it is the day before the album is released in most European countries, so it will be great promo :yahoo: Jay-Z and Robbie Williams to perform! Two of the world’s most successful male artists have just been added to our roster of performers: rap titan Jay-Z and pop maestro Robbie Williams will both be gracing our stage as performers at this year’s EMAs! Both music industry giants are nominated for Best Male this year, while Jay-Z is also up in the Best Urban category. We are also announcing that British soul singer/songwriter Joss Stone will not only be presenting an award, but also making her hosting debut on our 2009 EMA: Red Carpet Show. Joss will interview the stars as they arrive for our glittering event and you can watch that exclusive show right here on 5th November from 8-9 PM CET. We’re not done yet! Our list of celebrity presenters also grows with the addition of Sports Illustrated model and actress, Bar Refaeli; WWE superstar Batista; former world #1 and Olympic gold medal-winning tennis player, Boris Becker; star of MTV’s The Hills and Bromance, Brody Jenner; and U.S. pop icons and Best Group nominees, Jonas Brothers. We just hope the O2 World is built to hold all that starpower… http://ema.mtv.co.uk/news/news_jayz_robbie
October 29, 200915 yr Author WTF is going on? :o What other commitments could be more important for his career than the biggest award show in Europe :o This was going to be perfect promotion as the album is out the following day in many parts of Europe. I seriously cannot believe this. It is pure insanity pulling out of such a great promo opportunity. There is something going on, as it makes no sence. :o
October 29, 200915 yr Author I am really annoyed about this  The explanation is ridiculous. There is clealy anothe reason. -_-
October 29, 200915 yr Author This has not been picked up by anyone else, if an official statement has indeed been released, surely others would report on it? Rob is stilll listed as performing on the EMA site so fingers crossed this is 3am crap.
October 29, 200915 yr Author I know. It is ridiculous. This was the only proper global promo where all fans could watch it on TV instead of waiting for youtube etc. It makes no sence. Perez has now picked up on it. It is going to come accross now that Rob isnt taking the whole thing seriously as this was by far the most important promo date he has lined up. http://perezhilton.com/2009-10-29-robbie-w...t-of-mtv-awards
October 29, 200915 yr He really didn't need all this. And yes, what can be more promotional than that performance. I'm really mad, yes, more mad than sad, now...
October 29, 200915 yr That's a real shame, if true  nothing official has been said yet has it? I just clicked on a news thread on google about it and the page doesn't appear now http://www.3am.co.uk/404.aspx
October 29, 200915 yr Author If you click on home it is the main story though. Also, he is not listen ont he official EMA site as being one of the performers  This was the only promo he had between now and the Wetten Dass on the 7th. So this excuse is clearly not true. It has been suggested that he found out he wasnt going to win the Best Male award so pulled out. This better not be the case as he would really be taking the p*** It is going to mean a loss is alot of potential sales from such huge promo. It far outweights winning some award, especially when it was silly he was even nominated - he hadnt even released Bodies at that stage
October 29, 200915 yr It has been suggested that he found out he wasnt going to win the Best Male award so pulled out. Could be truth. But, I really can't see who can win that. All others in Best Male are :puke2: Maybe because I just hate rap music so much.
October 30, 200915 yr I cannot find it anywhere on the RW.com site where it says that he was ever going to appear live at the EMA's in the first place......they are just asking fans to vote for Robbie as best male so maybe he never intended to be there anyway ...maybe the EMA people were hoping that he would agree to appear but it was never on his schedule in the first place <_< This was all I could find on the RW site & no mention of him doing any personal appearance.....whereas the Brit award one actually says he is going to be there http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs....-music-awards-0 http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs....-to-music-award The EMA folk mentioned his appearance a while back http://ema.mtv.co.uk/news/news_jayz_robbie This is the latest from the Mirror <_< Rob fobs off MTVBy 3am 30/10/2009 Robbie Williams' comeback was in tatters last night when he suddenly pulled out of the MTV Awards. His people were keeping tightlipped about the reasons for his no-show next month, while MTV feebly said it was "scheduling conflicts". Yeah whatever. It comes amid reports he's unhappy at the way his comeback has been handled. His X Factor stint was a disaster and Q Magazine said of his album: "A pop star lacking pop songs... a good time to give Gary Barlow a call." Ouch. Edited October 30, 200915 yr by staralliance
