I'm getting a patio laid that week. I'm not leaving builders unattended to bugger off to London. <_<

 

I didn't enter the comp either....I just want to give everyone else a chance to win..... ;)

 

I see on Digiguide that they are showing 45 mins of The Proms On OCT 20th starting at 23.20 ....

 

If I remember correctly with the OASIS gig from the Proms they only has hilights as well......better have Sky+ ready ..... :)

When Keane did the proms, they only showed highlights on the tv aswell

Starts ......that is normally when they show it so no surprises there :huh: ...a bit of a bummer though for UK fans with it not being shown in the cinemas :)

I have been listening over & over to the clip from Morning Sun....that song is really beautiful & I hope that Robbie sings it at the Proms as I am certain it will sound just fab over the radio .... :wub:

BBC Electric Proms: £5 Ticket Ballot

The BBC Electric Proms are opening the registration for their ballot tomorrow morning for a very limited number of £5 tickets for Robbie's performance on Tuesday, 20th October.

 

Registration runs from 10:00 BST on Thursday, 15th October until 18:00 BST on Sunday, 18th October.

£5 Pound Tickets Terms & ConditionsRegistration for £5 tickets is open to all UK residents (including Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) aged 16 or over, except BBC employees, any person connected to the ticket ballot and their close relatives. Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.

 

Registration only enters the applicant into a lottery to become eligible to purchase the £5 tickets and can only be made online at www.bbc.co.uk/electricproms. The registration form will open at 10:00 on Thursday 15 October 2009 and will close at 18:00 Sunday 18 October. Registration is capped at 1 per person per event date.

 

Applications must contain the following information: (i) name, (ii) address, (iii) the date of the event applicant would like to attend, and (iv) daytime contact number.

 

There are 10 pairs of £5 tickets available per event that will be allocated at random based on applicant's postcode. The allocation process for tickets is geographically weighted as follows: 80% across the selected postcodes in London and the south east of the United Kingdom (postcodes listed below) and 20% for the rest of the country.

 

Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email at least one day before the event to inform them that they have been allocated a pair of tickets. Applicants must print the email and present it together with photo identification upon payment of the £5 per ticket at the box office.

 

The BBC's decision as to the ticket allocation is final. No correspondence relating to the ticket ballot will be entered into.

 

Application is for a pair of tickets to attend the BBC Electric Proms at The Roundhouse, Camden, London on the dates listed below. The tickets cannot be sold or transferred in any circumstances.

21 October 2009 at 19:00

22 October 2009 at 18:45

23 October 2009 at 18:00

24 October 2009 at 18:30

 

The BBC will not reimburse the winners for any costs incurred in attending the event i.e. travel and/or accommodation.

 

The BBC will not be responsible for any failure by the ticket holders to gain entry or re-entry to the event due to the behaviour of the ticket holder or their failure to meet the admission requirements of the event.

 

The BBC reserves the right to: (i) vary the opening times of the ticket-ballot; (ii) disqualify any entrant who breaches the rules or has acted fraudulently in any way; (iii) withdraw any ticket, at any stage, should any winner or their guest exhibit inappropriate or dangerous behaviour (including, but not limited to being under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs or chemical substances or causing a nuisance) and; (iv) cancel or vary the event or ticket giveaway, at any stage, if in its opinion it is deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside its control.

 

The BBC, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem which may result in any application being lost, not properly registered or tickets not arriving.

The ticket ballot in this programme accords with the BBC's Code of Conduct for Competitions and Voting, details of which can be found on the BBC'S Standards and Guidelines website.
