September 24, 200915 yr I detested the character of Dennis Dunstable in the Please Sir / Fenn Street Gang but liked the actor. Still ... really sad! I'm amazed actually at the number of the 'kids' in Please Sir / Fenn Street have died young. I hope my favourite character 'Frankie Abbott' has a long time left in him! Norma

September 25, 200915 yr who else has died?.... dennis dunstable was the 'quiet' one with 'big' frizzy hair who liked animals wasnt he? Liz Gebhardt (Maureen Bullock) died in 1995 aged 51 - cancer Malcolm McFee (Peter Craven) died in 2001 aged 52 - cancer Obviously the older ones are dead (Miss Ewell, the Headmaster, Potter, etc) but I was shocked at the 'kids' death's. And yes - Dunstable was that one ... a truly annoying character. Norma
September 30, 200915 yr Don't remember Please Sir, but I do remember Ralph in Dear John with his motorcyle combination. And 'Dazzling Darren' DJ act, which just involved saying 'boogaloo' completely deadpan at points during the song. Dear John was a funny programme, sad that 'John' is dead too. :(
