My Diamonds,

 

I am proud to announce that my first 'official' single is going to be 'Mowgli's Road'.

 

After playing around 27 festival dates this summer, "Mowgli's" was definitely one of the crowd's favourites and it is 100% representative of me as an artist, an individual and a creative spirit. The song is inspired by my personal experiences of trying to forge my own artistic identity within music.

It's been reworked and dazzled (don't worry, it hasn't changed TOO much) by Liam Howe and myself and... I've also got a suprise in the form of a little b-side for you too.. more on that soon.

 

Recording the video in ten days and being the snorefest that I am, can't reveal anything on that either but I just wanted to say that I am REALLY excited!!!!!! It's been a long time coming.

 

Mowgli's Road will be released on November 2nd 2009 through Atlantic Records.

I'm not sure when I can let you guys hear the single but I'll find out and make sure all you mailing list members get first chance listen.

Yes. Hopefully this will be a huge hit single that her talent deserves.

I always thought that side of the previous single was much better - Marina's my mate's ex-flat mate so hope she does well.

Loved her for what seems like an age now, hope she 'breaks'.

The song that grew on me a lot, i used to dislike it much :( Now ADORING.

I'm pretty sure she'll break through... but not with this song.

 

It's gonna have to be used as a hype single? I can see her being pretty big next year either way...

The video is absolute vivid $h!t. The song is phenomenal and she is so so gorgeous. :wub: Better than Boots, Florence and La Roux put together in almost every aspect.

i heard the track once on the radio, the name would lead one to believe, like i did, that it was a female fronted band..

I didn't know anything about her, but I found the video to this strangely fascinating and it made the song grow on me. ^_^
