Carly Rae Jepsen - Motivation
I really like On Wires but everything since then has been progressively worse. I actually can’t stand this one 🥲 I’m glad it’s a double album, hopefully there will be a decent album in there somewhere. It’s all a bit of a mess for me at the moment

Tinashe - Melatonin
Firmly back on board now, can’t get enough of this Obsessed with the production, I love how how you have no idea where it’s going next. And this video! 🤩 She’s such a star

The holy quadrinity of kiss me, stay, oh well and nowhere, nobody has me in an absolute chokehold All the layered vocals have me ascending

Gagged at kiss me immediately being one of her best songs. What an opener Love the production throughout, so many gorgeous flourishes and I like how it’s a bit more experimental in places than you’d expect. I’m not sure where it’ll sit in her discography for me yet, eternal sunshine is my firm favourite at this point but I can see this being up there with my favourites.

Music, Fashion, Film • 8th Album
I really wasn't sure what I'd make of this but I'm loving it. When she said she'd be making rock music I was really hoping it would be in the vein of Thy Slaughter so I'm glad it is. The production throughout is so good, all those fuzzy guitars scratch my brain and take me back to the music I listened to growing up Persona is immediately one of her best ever

Eartheater - Heavenly Body: If I’m the Bottle You’re the Message
This is so gorgeous, it's on repeat for me along with Kelela. The production throughout is stuuuunning. Don't Look Back ❤️

Kelela - new avatar
Obsessed with this. The shoegaze sound is so perfect for her. I've seen a few people saying outta time is her worst song, which is just an incorrect opinion. I can't get enough of that, goin down and crystalize. So dreamy I can hear Stonger too @Jade! Her voice is quite similar in tone to Mutya's sometimes, so I thought it might've been a bit of a nod to that. Love that it's actually Craig David though 😅

Tinashe - Crash Out
This is so Tinashe on autopilot, she's realeased 100 songs that sound like this at this point. I wasn't that bothered with Too Easy either (although at least it was doing something a bit different for her), so it's sort of 0/2 for me so far She often doesn't go with the best songs as singles though so I'm still hopeful I'll like the album, especially as it's a decent length for once!

Confessions II ● 15th album
Really enjoying this, Fragile is the absolute one for me
-
Carly Rae Jepsen - On Wires
Well I love this. I had no idea what to expect but I love that she hasn’t gone with something safer as the lead. This psych rock sound suits her so well and feels like a really natural progression for her, excited to hear what the rest of the album is like.

Olivia Rodrigo - you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love
So there’s this SOTY called maggots for brains Loving this. I could do without one or two of the ballads but it’s a really strong album and immediately my favourite of hers. Love the production throughout and the new wave influence on so many of the tracks ❤️

hate that i made you love me • 1st Single
Yeah, I-I-I love this ❤️ It’s a lot more understated than I was expecting but I always love an unexpected lead single. Love the production and her voice sounds better than ever. It follows on so nicely from eternal sunshine and brighter days ahead, she’s really found her lane I would’ve loved her to fully go for it in those two final choruses, but also appreciate how dreamy it is with the softer vocals

Charli xcx - SS26
Wasn’t totally sold on Rock Music but I love this I keep hearing it as ‘my heritage could give me Grindr USP’ though 🤡
-
Olivia Rodrigo - the cure
Love this. The opening guitar sounds so much like Meds by Placebo 👌🏼

Can’t wait for this, eternal sunshine (and the brighter days tracks) is my favourite of hers now I think, she gets better and better Gorgeous artwork too ❤️
