  1. Not sure how well known this site is; but the best visualisation I've found for how Scottish and Welsh seats have been allocated today under D'Hondt is here.
  2. Strongholds of the Whigs/Liberals for over 200 years, the Lib Dems have won Orkney with 70% (!) of the constituency vote while potentially losing Shetland to the SNP. The islands are diverging. That 70% is, I believe, the highest constituency vote in any Scottish parliament election.
  3. I understand that there were two issues identified: The Senedd's powers had been expanded since its establishment in 1999 while the size of the Senedd had remained the same (60 members). The majority of the governing party ended up in cabinet positions and that left very little manpower available for committees and other non-governmental roles in parliament. The Senedd needed to be expanded anyway. Wales' former distribution had 40 FPTP constituency seats and just 20 list seats. There weren't enough list seats to compensate for potential FPTP anomalies and make the results truly proportional.

Pagasa leading is insane, would not have predicted that!!

Voted! Bumped up an earworm from 7 points in the semi to 18 in the final
  6. Just realised from that map that Thurrock and Southend aren't administratively part of Essex county council which makes no sense. The Hitler Coast (Kent to the Wash but also Lincolnshire if they were having elections) will be extremely (light) blue. I doubt it will make a difference to the county council control, but no idea what happens to the smattering of Greens in Suffolk now that they have controlled a district council there for a while and now have a visibly leftwing leader with a strong nationwide presence despite mid Suffolk really not being fertile leftwing territory. Maybe one of the areas that might actually miss Adrian Ramsay as leader even as the change is undoubtedly positive overall.
  7. Was about 12th in my ranking, I did like it but not quite enough!! 😓 Glad that being on the cusp for me was not the difference between Q and DNQ at least.
  8. Thankyou for the visa 5 1 \\ Herbilore \\ Loren Kramar - Gay Angels I just lost this one!
  9. Would particularly like to qualify this time but not overly confident on doing so! Ready to declare Fort Romeau very overlooked.
  10. Voted! Gelli Haha music video sleep paralysis demon
  11. This is the month where I could really do with my mum doing the washing.
  12. Imagine the tantrum if he does now in fact DNQ after the host’s reassurance that he wouldn’t tho. Have a really stupid Saturday because I have just done a race with 3200m elevation gain and also have to finish packing/cleaning my flat because I am moving out of it in 16 hours’ time, and my time management is so bad that I’ve also left half the semi to listen to which I could easily have done earlier in the week. At least that is cleaning-friendly.
  13. Same lmao Although I'm pretty sure Silas starting a thread titled 'Visa Processing' has after several months led to my visa finally being acknowledged this morning so thankyou
  14. For some reason I couldn't unquote the original post and while I could delete the contents, anything I quoted or typed myself appeared inside it. Could probably delete cookies but I cba with that.
