  1. Ooops fcukers was me! Seems like I’ve been in a bit of a bubble as I didn’t realise their popularity on here or them making waves in the mainstream! When I saw yesterday they had performed on Jimmy Fallon earlier this year I knew it was pushing it a bit! It’s been on my backup list for a few months now. I have reconfirmed another song at a healthy length of 2:41 ā¤ļø
  2. Wow at Rein Me In breaking the record! Was hoping that would get there as I think that is more significant than Shakira making it who has already done extremely well for #2 spot! If there’s anyway Dai Dai could make it to #1 this week that would be ideal! Rein Me In to fall for a third week next week and go to ACR now please!
  3. Shame Elderbrook hasn’t done as well as they previously have but I knew it would be one that could fall into the ā€˜like but not love’ trap. Will have to go back to the drawing board for next month.
  4. Wow Skall! Incredible to see such an understated song do so well. Just wish I had connected with it a little more as I preferred Pyrrhic and Wawa by the Ocean which both DNQ’d. Where were the fans then?
  5. Odd final vibes! Felt very disconnected and Akeria and Silky were visibly over it. Agreed that the over-production has kinda killed the season again but not in such a bad way as AS10. If only Kennedy had managed to stay in that week, she would’ve done great at the talent show and all the disco lip-syncs! Was routing for Joey as the heart of this season but knew from the edit of the final lipsync that Crystal had got it, she’s still a deserving winner and has certainly elevated her drag since her season. I just wish they let one of these bracket seasons breathe. I feel like the format lends itself to just seeing what happens week by week and that would make the season far more gripping rather than us seeing what is happening from a mile away.
  6. Woo woo! Love this boarding pass design ā¤ļø
  7. Ooh interesting Meg Stalter BRR was the song I was nearly going to send over what I sent! Glad I didn’t contribute any more veto points to that. I know and like Tourist and BAYLI but other than I don’t know anything else.
  8. Entered! Been a bit of a hectic week unfortunately but have found something suitable!
  9. Shallow x
  10. This was great but also so unsettling! I really think the actors did a great job of it especially Nikki. It was good to see something with a very simple premise be explored rather than getting too convulted. Also echoing the humorous moments were good and genuinely funny rather than being shoe-horned in. Would recommend!
  11. At a guess it could be me! I debuted in 31 and won 172 as my first contest, with maybe 10-15 contests I hadn’t competed in sprinkled in there?
  12. Congratulations Addy! My 18 winning is always a great feeling, Rob was my 15, Colm my 13 and then Kath my 11 points so the results are right up my street this month! Thank you to all for sending those entries (as well as Nine 3/4 for being my 12 too!). Supermarket was entered on a whim after ORKID was vetoed so very pleasantly surprised it’s done as well as 8th! This didn’t seem to be getting as much support as Brick by Brick so it’s done better than I’d imagined (two contests in a row that’s happened now pour moi) and thank you Mothertopia and Hendinia for your 18s! Thank you very much DaTilt for hosting this month, very smooth for the first time and lovely graphics ā¤ļø
  13. It’s a timeless anthem! Thank you for sharing with the contest ā¤ļø
  14. 01; Loreen - Tattoo 02; Netta - Toy 03; Maneskin - Zitti E Buoni 04; DARA - Bangaranga 05; Duncan Laurence - Arcade 06; Jamala - 1944 07; Kalush Orchestra - Stefania 08; Nemo - The Code 09; JJ - Wasted Love 10; Salvador Sobral - Amar Pelos Dois for me! Majority I agree with as winners but not all of them I go back and listen to. Sometimes its the combination of the competition around it and the performance that make a winner but not a long lasting song.
