I haven't saved anything yet :( I'm hoping to start again when I move and get a new job (which will give me a couple of K more per year just being in London :cheer:)

I thought ticket sales were always earlier, but was thinking they go on sale nearer to the deadline next year, so people will have heard more of the songs and know exactly what they are getting. But I suppose avid fans would go no matter what the songs are like

I'd like to visit all the countries. I might vote for Hungary to win, I went to Budapest this year, the week after ESC, and it's a very nice city...and it has trams :D

ok, I'm going to the dress rehearsal on the Friday night, will be in the sixth row back by the looks of it, unless I've misunderstood something :o was considering going to the Saturday afternoon dress rehearsal like last time but figured that this way I won't miss any shopping mall live performances clashing with it on the Saturday :heehee: I don't expect I'll be able to go to the final, unless another miracle happens a la 2009, but sixth row back will be cool anyway!

In answer to your previous question, I'm staying in the StayAt apartment hotel in Lindhagen, just on the outskirts of Stockholm. There are four of them in Stockholm so if you choose to go with them then go for the Solna or Lindhagen ones as they are the closest, and also the cheapest I think.

oh right, I'll look into them, thank you for the info, I'm just concerned about proximity to train stations/metro stations as I can't imagine it will be too easy to get back from Globen in the night as iirc, the station was completely closed up at around 10pm when we were first got there last year!?!

My friend was in London from wedensday to monday, she says London is not expensive, it was way cheaper then Norway she told

How strange, or maybe not, since it live millions of people in London, Oslo only have like 0,5 million :P

I guess i will have to wait Serbia winning again since it's by far the cheapest Eurovision (saying cheapest doesn't mean the worst :P just the least expensive for tourists) that has been held in the last 5 years. :heehee:

well I'll definitely be in Globen on Friday night becuase that's when the dress rehearsal I'm going to is on, so I'll be around that area anyway on the 12th and I don't think it would feel right leaving the area without going into a schlager bar :heehee:...I'm trying my utmost to get tickets for the final too still :lol:

 

I'll text you nearer the time, I'm sure we'll have time to meet for a drink ^_^
