October 2, 200915 yr definitely the worst #1 in years. The good thing is that its a fanbase #1, so it should plummet next week.
October 2, 200915 yr I can't believe it is the FIRST #1 for Rammstein! :o They have so much songs which deserve #1 FAR more.
October 2, 200915 yr Author Amazing #1. :kink: I can't stand Tokio Hotel.  I can't stand them either, but actually Automatisch is quite a good track. The first one I could like actually from them :o
October 2, 200915 yr ^I've never liked anything from them, the new track was okay-ish though IMO. Possibly their best after 'Ready, Set, Go!' or 'Monsoon' (which are both meh IMO ). I can't believe it is the FIRST #1 for Rammstein! :o They have so much songs which deserve #1 FAR more. I kinda agree. I think 'Du Hast' and 'Amerika' deserved #1. ;) Edited October 2, 200915 yr by FM11
October 2, 200915 yr I can't stand them either, but actually Automatisch is quite a good track. The first one I could like actually from them :o The whole album is actually quite good. :) I really like "Pain Of Love", "Humanoid", "Darkside Of The Sun" and "World Behind My Wall". ^_^
October 2, 200915 yr Sorry, I tried to like this, mostly because I love the idea of a European act being world stars again, but I find it really generic. I hate their fake-American accents ("Oddomadic!" :puke2:), it's uber-generic, and they still look like twats :(
October 2, 200915 yr Woow go p*ssy! TH :puke: 92 26 02 No Angels - Welcome To The Dance What a flop! :o
October 3, 200915 yr Yan's German chart comments - Issue date 02.10 So finally we have a new number one in Germany, coming from perhaps the most famous German group worldwide. Not only Rammstein manage to score their first number one ever with "P*ssy" but also to end the continuous female dominance over the charts. To the song itself, though I don't think "P*ssy" is Rammstein's song which most deserved to be number one (I can name ten singles of them which are by far better) we cannot ignore that they have come up with the perfect formula for a number one hit - to be scandalous to the maximum. So the video and the lyrics are actual porno and no TV or radio plays the song (though VIVA has now playlisted it, but I'm still waiting for the video to be played - perhaps only during the night and with a censored version) but that didn't stop "P*ssy" shooting straight to the top. The second biggest news of the week can be find at number five, where German sensation Tokio Hotel come in with the pilot single of their second album. While a top five placing cannot be considered a failure, I still think that some of the initial magic that has made four of their eight singles number ones has faded away. "Automatisch" is a new single after a two-year absence, it comes from yet to be released album, but it manages to be their least peaking song (along "Schrei") and most importantly the single is not number one! This doesn't bode well for the future... The next new entry follows at #22 and you have to admire of the continuous attempts of one of the best boy bands ever to release singles and not just call it a day. Not that the latest song of Backstreet Boys is so bad, but something is once again missing. They are not Take That and I guess it's the Boys title that is burdening them. Who knows? At least the single is not the flop it is in the UK... Good news for Kelly Clarkson at #23. Her previous single "I Do Not Hook Up" miserably flopped outside the top 50, but now "Already Gone" - a beautiful strong ballad manages to return her in the top 30, a territory where she has to be... And finally some words on the latest and somewhat surprising new release of German legend Nena. Her career already spans more than 25 years and as "Wir sind wahr" is a good song, I wonder why the video was released just a week or two ago and the single was so fast rushed into the shops. So with no strong promotion it manages to make, at least for now, only #28. Oh, and why Daniel Merriweather didn't release "Red" in Germany? It is after all his best and most successful single so far. But still good to see "Impossible" in the top 40.
October 3, 200915 yr Rammstein at #1! Good for them, apparently it is long over due if it's their first ever!
