Will it be Chicago, Rio, Tokyo or Madrid?

Chicago has a huge trump card with Barack Obama, but do we need another OG in the US.

Tokyo has great infrastructures in the heart of the city, but it´s the city with least populational support and the Games would be held in October, which is deemed to late.

Madrid is also well equipped and has the biggest populational support, but after London 2012 and Sochi 2014, it will be unlikely that the IOC would go for a third consecutive OG in Europe.

Rio has recent infrastuctures due to the 2007 Pan American Games and it would be a first for South America, but the criminality rate and other problems are a huge turn-off.

My money's on Chicago tbh.

A little "been there, done that" bid, but I´d say Chicago too.

Anywhere but Chicago pls. America have already had it 4 times GB seem to suck there anyway.

Rio would be my number 1, purely as it is an excuse for me to go there.

1625: Well, isn't that a turn up for the books? Chicago are eliminated in the first round - cue audible gasps around the auditorium - and a second round of voting opens immediately.

Another loose cannon like Beijing, but I am happy that it won.

I was hoping Madrid but Rio is excellent choice as well! :cheer:
I think Rio was the best choice, their bid was great and it's about time it went to South America. Tokyo was my second choice :)

I was thinking Baku would have been interesting choice but it was eliminated in the opening stages....
It had to go the the other side of the world, Rio was the mostly likely host anyway, it probably go to a European or Asian city in 2020, so Madrid could get it.

With the Olympics just over a week away who is looking forward to it?

Im hoping for a few medals for the British team, our best hopes are probably in the Cycling and im hoping 14 year old Tom Daley gets a medal in the Diving, he won the European Championships earlier this year.

I was really hoping for Baku too, it just didn't have the infrastructure required.
