Amazing. One of the best releases of the year.

My copy of this finally arrived this week, a couple of listens in and I'm loving it. It's one of those albums you put on and completely drift away into it, I can see this being a regular on my ipod over Christmas. :wub:

I'm so glad someone else enjoys this as much as I do. :wub: 'Psychic Chasms' is such an amazing song. I adore the lyrics. 'Common haze slowly looms twisting through like sulfur fumes while I just contemplated signs'.

I haven't concentrated on the lyrics yet, in fact I was surprised when it had any. At the moment I'm just completely caught up in the music, it reminds me of so much that I can't quite put my finger on, yet at the same time I can't actually think of another CD in my collection that's like it. It should do well in my end of year list methinks.

 

But, yes, the lyric you posted is rather special...

deadbeat summer's my favourite track. these guys are gooood.

I have the album, haven't listened yet but I'll try to if you two like it.
