Listening to Kom again, what the hell makes it better than the complete and utter flop from Sofia from last year except it being in Swedish?? The vocals are even as good!!

It seems to have public, rather than purely international support? :P I liked Alla but Kom's charm is on another level for me.

Use winRAR, you can get a free trial (which lasts forever, even though it bitches on you that it only lasts forty days :kink:) online, then you unRAR the file which has the mp3s inside ^_^

On third listen, I remain confident that Kom is going to win the contest overall, so long as the vocals are decent and it has a good stage presentation (i.e. not a repeat of Charlotte Perelli's 'grey lady' intro :lol:)

Peter Joback's sounds relatively promising, but I hope it gets better further on (it has 6 key changes apparently!)

 

But WOW!! Sibel's song is f***ing amazing!! Killer chorus. Very contemporary. I am praying she can carry it off vocally and if she goes to second chance as predicted that she does not come up against the 'zar!!

Mediafire. Peter's song has good verses but a weak chorus, and he has an annoying voice. Sibel's song is pretty awesome though :)

Sibel's song sounds fantastic, but there's no way it'll win MF...it'll probably do an EMD (well, Darin'll do an EMD, but I mean results-wise :heehee:)

Kom is 100 times better than Alla for me. Alla sounded completely Greek, Kom retains some Swedish charm. Sofia didn't come across as particularly likeable either to me, and it's no wonder she flopped when she got to the final through some ridiciulous SVT invention to make more money. I can't imagine Sofia helped them much in that case anyway, they'd have been better sending Star Pilots, Lili & Susie or Amy Diamond to the final, at least they would have made some money from these acts :heehee:

6 key changes? :lol: Sounds incredible! Really looking forward to Sibel now, still haven't stumbled across these clips though...if it's really that good I see no reason why she shouldn't go straight to the final...I guess Neo (Mika 2.0) and Pernilla Wahlgren could provide a challenge, seeing as the latter is probably the only proper Schlager song we're going to get this year!

Just been reading up about Timoteij - they're all 18/19 years old and met each other at school on a 'music production' course. They're so new that they don't appear to have a MySpace and Kom seems to be their first recorded song! Now I do love Alcazar and would have loved them to be in the final (and they still could be) but it's nice to see fresh faces in the final, Alcazar (particularly Andreas) have been on the the MF stage more times than I've had hot dinners :kink:

Oh I'm loving Kom, thanks for the link. Very catchy, I could see it doing very well at Eurovision (not 100% sure of a win yet though). I just hope Sweden sends it as there are so many songs they've should've sent (like Delta said, it was criminal Nanne didnt win in 2005, how it didnt win over Las Vegas ill never know - from memory didnt Nanne win the public vote but Vegas got more points from the jury?).
