I'm actually beyond annoyed now. I wasn't going to post these articles but I think we need a thread to discuss what's been going on. :angry:

For what it's worth I think the Mirror have been on a concerted vendetta against Robbie for some years. Probably because he always ignores them and gives any exclusive interviews to their arch rivals The Sun.

 

I'm guessing the recent 3 day Robbie 'exclusive' by Gordon Smart pissed off the Mirror ever so slightly......

 

Now The Mail are even worse in some respects. Last week Robbie was the dog's bollocks and they used his popularity to boost their Sunday sales by the free CD offer. By Sunday night he's some sort of deranged junkie. On the plus side, I bought a Mail for the first (and last) time in my life on Sunday so I'll save myself some pennies in the future.

 

I've never read The Mirror in my puff so no loss there either.

:( There's no point in discussing it, quite obvious that the press are out for the kill as always.

 

Along with some spiteful posters that seem to get a kick out of winding people up on just about

every forum they can visit regarding Robbie, stiring and making things sound completely out of proportion.

 

I wish some of Robbies management would make some kind of statement or Robbie himself tbh.

Scotty was telling me earlier that Jackie (on TRWS) is going to phone the Mirror editor tomorrow to complain.

I was fuming about this earlier, have calmed down now but will just copy my post from the Bodies thread :P

 

 

Thes newer 3am bitches are even thicker and more vindictive than any of the previous ones. Both of todays articles are disgusting and unbelievtly inaccurate and unprofessional. How dare they say Rob could only join TT as thier roadie (he is #1 and #2 all over the bloody world), and claim Bodies is his 'lastest flop' with a 'mere' 43K first day. These people are so f***ing briandead it is beyond human belief. Have they any knowledge of charts and sales at all? There have only been 3 singles to sell quicker than Bodies in the entire year so far FFS. And only two sold faster last year. Not wishing to drag up all the TT crap again, but it has to be said that Bodies sold alot more first day than either Rule The World and Greatest Day sold first day (most likely wont sell more in total but they are calling it a flop after one day of very impressive sales), and neither of them were hailed as anything but huge success. What on earth has Robbie done to make these horrible individuals hate him so much? It is truly bizzaire and infuriating as a fan to have to read such crap, especially when factually they could not be more inccorect. It is nothing more than a deliberate attempt to try and ruin his comeback :angry: :angry: :angry: It is a disgrace at how bias and negetive the reporting is. It has been like this for years now, but it had been going well for up till now. He should be able to come back and be a pop star without these character assassinations from the tabloids at every given opportunity.

 

How I wish people would wake up and look at how amazily well Bodies is doing worldwide. An update of it's Itunes positions and some charts showing to the extent that he is dominating (and people think Alex's lead is impressive :lol: )
