Posted October 16, 200915 yr Really sad news for Gary as his father has died suddenly. He was to be launching news of the CIN concert today on several media but obviously has rushed back home to be with his mum and brother. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...dads-death.html Really heartfelt condolences to Gary and his family - he was so, so very close to his father. Norma Mind you ... trust the ever-faithful and correct Sun to get it wrong - his dad was 71 not 62. Edited October 16, 200915 yr by Norma_Snockers
October 16, 200915 yr Condolences to Gary and his family. Regardless when it happens and how old your parent is, it is a hard hard loss ....
October 16, 200915 yr Gary was also due to give an interview on the late late show here in ireland tonight so that is cancelled aswell, my condolences to gary and all the family and all their friends, a death is never easy no matter what the age.
October 19, 200915 yr Author Thanks Jup for dropping by. Gary left a note on his own website - not much just 'we love you dad - RIP' Really sad. I honestly think he may drop out of the CIN thing altogether. If he does appear with Take That then I think they'll probably have a Mark led song. I'm sure Gary may be too choked up to sing. Norma
October 19, 200915 yr I don't know Kathy. Music makes the soul free and through music you can sing out all your worries and put all your feelings in. I am never nearer God as when i sing. It may help him to sing in a gig for a cause.
October 19, 200915 yr What sad news for Gary and his family. Was watching some of the i-tunes passes a few weeks go and was only thinking what a nice man his Dad was. He really reminded me of my Grandad for some reason. They seem like a close family so am sure that they will all be there for each other.
October 21, 200915 yr My condolences to Gary and family on the passing of his dad.....must have been a shock to him..... :(
