While there's more than enough competition, I don't reckon there's a massive need for semis...30 song final with 3 nominees from each contest (or 20 song final with 2 nominees + however many wildcards you wish to put in) would do fine, and even with that I reckon there'd be a massive range in quality :lol:

Yeah, I didn't think we'd end up needing semis either, but I was wondering whether it should be 3 nominees from each contest etc. I might want to nominate 5 rejects from XI and none from XII, for example.

 

Oh, and people, DO remember that it is just a week away until TBO starts up! :lol: Do nominations or listen to the songs again or take part in the Rejects (once it has begun...looks like someone's a bit late given I said last Sunday was the limit for starting it :kink:) if you've got THAT much of a BJSC craving :P

I told James to do it as I was busy until after Tuesday, but I think he wants to host the final and so conveniently forgot, so I could do nominations after all. :lol:

It's odd i felt it'd be the other way - but i don't miss BJSC almost at all. Having a break is great, i don't search for songs, don't think of the 'bjsc format' when i listen to the song.

On the topic, it's actually quite refreshing to not have to listen to everything with the BJSC in mind :o

u all are LIARS...that's the main reason why I hate 'no contest' month, because everything I listen, I think about BJSC, but when I realize there isn't one until December, my mood just flushes down :(.

But then you can't really call it a 'Best of' if the best songs aren't in it. :mellow:

I think the NSC's "Congratulations" is far better than BJSC's "Best of"

 

I just think the best of is overly complicated when you could just do something more basic and fair and just have everyone enter the song that meant the most to the them during the 10 contests.
