Im really disapointed with who eastenders have overall oput forward for best actor and actress, i was voting for lacey turner regardless but samanatha wommack deserved a nomination over barbra windsor and likewise max branning should have been nominated for best actor.

Sexiest Male: John Partridge (not really bothered about this one but he has a chance of wining)

Sexiest Female: Preeya Kalidas (she just has to win this award plus its her only chance of getting it with her leaving)

Best Villian: Archie Mitchell

Best Actor: I went with Adam Woodyat, long tern cast members in many soaps never seem to win awards, but i agree max branning and steve mcfadden definitly warranted the nominating over those up for nomination

Best Actress: Lacey Turner again i agree samantha womack should have been given the nod over barbra

Best Soap: EastEnders. they just have to win after the year they have had.

Thinking about it EE have been clever with their choices for nominations.

Putting Sam up against Lacey splits the vote - reducing chances of winning for both. This basically guarantees EE fans will vote for Lacey.

Likewise I presume they want Adam to get our actor votes? I can't quite fathom that one lol. Surely Jake would have been a cert to get votes.

Nicolas Woodman

Sophie Abelson

Lydia Kelly

Nitin Ganatra

Lacey Turner

EastEnders

Scott Maslen for best actor? OH DEAR

Almost as ridiculous as the diabolical Theresa McQueen's nomination as best actress  Who makes these things up?

I went with

Sexiest male: Ashley Taylor Dawson

Sexiest female: Preeya Kalidas

Villain: Don Gilet

Best actor: Nitin Ganatra

Best actress: Nina Wadia (Lacey doesn't need the votes)

Best soap: EE

Never mind villain, Don Gilet should've been up for Sexiest Male! http://www.moopy.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/horny.gif

Corrie writer Daran Little is joining Eastenders. Also wrote for Hollyoaks. This must be one of Bryan Kirkwoods first hirings. He got keys to the EP office today :D

Looks like some of that amazing Corrie humour ;) is coming to Albert Square!

Oh and on EE/Corrie:

CORONATION Street has suffered a snub after missing out on a nomination for the prestigious Royal Television Society programme awards.

EastEnders, The Bill and Casualty will fight it out for the soap and continuing drama gong on 16 March 16.

The setback comes after Corrie took the best soap prize at the National Television Awards in January - beating EastEnders for the first time since 2004.

Fingers crossed for EE :w00t:

Not much to say about tonights ep.

I'm now proper bored of Zsa Zsa and Leon. Zsa Zsa needs more scenes with Shirley but I am bored of her now tbh.

Whitney and Binnit are as tedious as ever.

Credit to Mel tonight, I thought she was great :)

Melissa Suffield in good SHOCKER.

Leon is boring me stiff. I don't think I even care about his involvement in the baby plot; it's all about the Beales.

Leon is a complete yawn isn't he? God knows how anybody could've green lighted that character.

Otherwise though I really liked tonight's. I like Zsa Zsa's ongoing semi-involvement with Whitney, I was glad to see Queen Jane of Beale back at centre stage and I positively loved every scene graced by Queen Carol of Jarkheart.

I'd quite happily see Leon packed off. Normally I think characters should be given time to settle in, but like I said earlier, EE has an overload of teen at the moment and could do with ditching a few,

especially with ANOTHER one on the way with Mercy returning full-time.

And she was the 2nd best of the bunch, which doesnt say much tbh. Keep Zsa Zsa, sort the character out, but dump the rest.

I agree EE has got crowded with a lot of teens, some of them need to be blended back into the background, I know Lauren and Jay have cut down their roles due to personal issues. They should give more screen time to Peter, his character needs to come out more. I do think the best teen actors in EE have to be Peter & Lucy, getting rid of them is like losing an arm. I know Lucy is always in your face all the time, but she is a very good actress.

And Billie is beginning to get on my wick, Zsa Zsa is growing on me, she looks too tall for a 16 year old

Billy the letter thief  never saw that coming

Oo so it's Billy! Liked his scenes with Carol.

Ugh at the 90 second scene featuring the Jeremy Kyle rejects :puke2: That Kylie creature makes me feel physically ill.

Mr Allcock had fun tonight. Zsa Zsa the Giant doing what she does best. Nothing much ;)

And Melissa again coming across very well. I like pregnant Lucy!

Indeed, very much a mixed bag tonight. Jane and Lucy work so well together but that was rather a blunt suggestion for Jane to make!

The council estate stuff was awful obviously. Loved Billy with Carol and I have to say I was genuinely shocked by that duff duff.

I also really like Phil and Shirley's banter when both are sober and I hope it continues. Mr Allcock can happily stay on too...
