EDIT: Official Video

The video clips keep getting taken down.. Bloody BBC, what harm will it do to allow the millions of fans abroad to watch the performances? -_-

Anyway, here is a good quality audio of 'You Know Me', which will be the second single. It wasnt one of my faves at first but I love it. It is ridiculously catchy and the chorus has been in my head all day. The music and production is simply fantastic. Orchestral pop at it's best imo. I think it is a good choice for second single, an old Robbie sound to it.

EDIT: Studio version from Scott Mills BBC Show

Im at work so will have to listen to it later

This is from the new release schedule in the chart forum:

14th Dec

Metro Station – Kelsey

Robbie Williams – You Know Me

Sean Paul – Hold My Hand

Taken By Trees – Anna

X Factor Winner – tba

It's too stupid for words, EMI aren't actually going to release it against the x factor winner's song? I don't expect it to go to #1 , but they seem to be trying their very best to find the hardest competition imaginable

On a positive note, I really love the song

Well EMI are just never going to get it right. I am not really annoyed about it being up against the XF again, because there are so many XF related acts around that no matter what week it is released there will be someone  Besides it is unlikely a second single will go to #1 anyway, even though it is a great tune. It will be lucky to get top 5 on Xmas week. Perhaps EMI want it to be #1 around Europe for Xmas or something? Considering Scott Mills is going to be premiering this track at 8 in the morning, and some radio station in Australia will also be doing so on Monday, Dec 14th seems way too far away for a release date. Still though, it is a good idea to have it on the radio before the album is out :D

Since you went awayy,

My heart breaks every day shoobie doo wabwabwab

That tune really is addictive :o

I'm glad it's second single, I like it.

I am not too keen on that one now tbh...not sure if i will ever get to like it......why could he not have picked Last Days of Disco as it would be brilliant for the Xmas market.....& he would have sold loads of remixes from this as well....

do these people listen to anyone :o

I'm reserving judgement too. I think it's a bit cheesy but then that's what the masses seem to like. Doo-Wap. :D

Decapacton is such a beautiful somgs as well.....

I'm really loving Bodies at the moment. Particularly that re-mix. It's a marvellously weird song.

How can you two not love this? :nono:

It is a brilliant pop tune. Has a classic Robbie sound to it, especially the verses and the chorus is extremly catchy. The music is also simply wonderful

Run along now and listen to it 50 times :smoke:

Just thought I'd add that every time I see "Deceptacon" I think it says "Decapitation".

Aw !!! Scotty...it's too dull for me ....it is dull & will be lucky to make top 10...

I will be the first to apologise if I am proven wrong..... ;)

HUH? 50 times? Fark dont fink I have ever heard any Robbie song 50 times .......

I don't mind it...like it more than Bodies actually B)

I loved Bodies, but to be honest although this is really catchy it has that cheesy end credits of a Richard Curtis romantic comedy movie about it.

So I'm not a big fan of this at all. Great production though.

But I get the depressing feeling that this album is shaping up to be an Intensive Care but with a superior production = It will sell well, but will be nowhere near the greatness of Rudebox.

I am not overly suprised you dont love You Know Me Rich, but I do think you will really like the album. Did you see the Electric Proms? (or should I say the very poor BBC highlights) I think someoen said the full gig is up on BBC's website for those in the UK. Morning Sun and Blasphemy are both brilliant tunes imo, also Deceptecon has a great Bowie vibe to it. Although, tbh from the clips on the official, the songs he didnt perform are the more experimental ones. The Last Days Of Diso and Difficult For Weirdos in paricular appear to be getting rave reviews. I think this album is going to please those who loved IC and those who loved Rudebox, and obviously those who loved both

But there are some great tracks on the album Scotty that you have already named so why did they go with the most obscure track....Robbie said that BODIES came running up on the outside to be selected as the first single...You Know Me must have been screaming for mercy to be selected...you just cannot say that this songs rates above Morning Sun, Deceptecon, Last Days of Disco...Blasphemy, Snowblind, even Difficult For Weirdos is brilliant...i could go on & on & I am so shocked they picked that one .... ...then again they picked Sin/Sin/Sin as a single on IC & that was dire............

so what will the video be like.... ....maybe a black & white video with Robbie in a drainpipe suit & backing singers dressed in 60's outfits with big hair soing their dooooooooooooo waps ......... :yahoo:

that might sell the song....... B)
