Just thought I'd add that every time I see "Deceptacon" I think it says "Decapitation".

Me too. Or Deception .....

But there are some great tracks on the album Scotty that you have already named so why did they go with the most obscure track....Robbie said that BODIES came running up on the outside to be selected as the first single...You Know Me must have been screaming for mercy to be selected...you just cannot say that this songs rates above Morning Sun, Deceptecon, Last Days of Disco...Blasphemy, Snowblind, even Difficult For Weirdos is brilliant...i could go on & on & I am so shocked they picked that one .... ...then again they picked Sin/Sin/Sin as a single on IC & that was dire............

so what will the video be like.... ....maybe a black & white video with Robbie in a drainpipe suit & backing singers dressed in 60's outfits with big hair soing their dooooooooooooo waps ......... :yahoo:

that might sell the song....... B)

No, I dont think You Know Me is better than those songs, but I think it is a catchy pop song that will lure more people to buy the album. I love how none of us have heard Last Days Of Disco fully yet, but we all consider it one of the albums best. ^_^ Morning Sun, Blasphemy and Deceptecon are all beautiful tunes  And the catchy stuff like Starstruck, Wont Do That and You Know me tick all the right boxes. Last Days, Superblind and Difficult For Weirdos from the 30 sec clips all sound brilliant too, and not to forget Do You Mind which Scott Mills suggested should be a single. It is the albums APTC, as a catchy pop/rock party track and has a Rolling Stones feel to it. Overall, going by the songs we have heard and the brilliant reviews -this album is going to be fan-bloody-tastic :w00t:

I have no problem with having You know me as a second single. It shows the variaty of songs on the album.

It'll be great to sing along with underneath the Xmas tree, including the doobie dooooo's

I agree that this album sound 'hot' & may be one of his best since his earlier albums which I adore so much....... the jury is still out for me on YKM but I will wiat with baited breath for the video & may yet change me mind....

I really like it....I think it will do well!!

One thing I'm really confused about though is why are they releasing this as a second single so soon?? Do they give singles just 2 weeks to do anything anymore?! The album isn't even released yet!

I would think so ....along with backing singers sashawing their hips with quif's to match

:puke2: :puke2: :puke2:

Sparkle will love it!

They did some kinda of a jukeboxy thingy on the Chrois Evans show this evening & the reaction to it was lukewarm <_< ( according to TRWS )

I am not even getting close to liking it...it reminds me too much of Daniel O'D trying too hard :P

Sorry Spark.... :friends: having said all that it will most likely be a hit..... ;)

Dont dare compare anything Rob does to Jups hero Danny :o  :smoke:

Not in a million years would Daniel sing a song like that. The whole song would need to be slowed down alot

It is getting a very good responce on youtube which is great

Robbie eyes festive No1

The Sun 26th October.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS is launching a bold bid for the Christmas No1, going head to head with the eventual winner of the X Factor.

It's a risky gambit, as the TV talent show champions have had the festive top spot sewn up over recent years.

But the Stoke lad - who played a triumphant London show on Tuesday - is issuing You Know Me from new album Reality Killed The Video Star on Monday, December 14.

It's going to be a great fight.

Obviously pointless and no-one stands a chance agains the XF, esp with a second single. I have heard a release date of the 7th as well, so hopefully it wil be then as it will have a better chance at top 5. Xmas week will be very competitive.
Daniel

You have a serious problem
