The last remix sounds like an ad for bubblegum

When I first read it last night I thought it was some sort of bee-bop duet with Michael Bubble

YKM is back in the top 20 in the mids due to the physical release. I am actually suprised it got back in considering how low physical sales are these days and how Rob and EMI have done absolutelly nothing to encourage fans to purchase the physical. Who on earth wants more bloody remixes of Bodies? Good grief. And what happened to the great DVD versions of the singles with the vids? It is like they are going out of their way to make it as pointless as possible for fans buying it. I couldnt even find it in HMV today

Either way, we are looking at another 15K+ sales this week, which would mean the total will reach 70,000 by Sunday, which is around the same as both Lovelight and Advertising Space sold in total, despite their top 10 positions, so he is easily going to achieve his highest sales for a 2nd single since Kids in 2000. That alone on top of the fact the album is still top 10 (Leona is now out of the top 10 apparently), and it being the 2nd most played song in the UK, means it was the perfect choice for the 2nd single imo. :D

Overall everything is going well in the UK. He achieved his highest first week sales with Bodies since Rock DJ, and now will have his highest 2nd single total sales since Kids, and the album should pass the half a million mark next week. It has already passed Rudeboxe's 9 week 2006 total within just 4 :D

damn a friend of mine couldn't get you know me single in Bremen... lol and they bought for me she's madonna and tripping....
Robbiels duet with olly singing angels on x factor was pretty crap but credit where credit is due robbie gave a brilliant performance of you know me and it came accross as a nice festive feel to it and i think this performance could well boost its chances of making the top 10 now.

Robbies performance of Angels was not crap as it was Olly that was supposed to sing the song with Robbie helping him ...no point in Robbie singing it for him ....Angels is a very hard song to sing & is ideally suited to Robbies voice but most other people avoid it like the plague....

Robbie did a perfect performance of YKM......

Yes it was ollie that was supposed to sing and he did, it was robbie who forgot the words and was off key but i suppose that is just my opinion. Robbie as i said made up for it when performing you know me.

How was he off key? His voice was exactly the way he always sings Angels. It was clearly Olly on the verse he did after Rob came on who was off key due to how nervious the poor guy was. You coudl he his voice trembeling at that part. Shame the performance was so short. It seemed to be over before it started. He didnt forget the words though, what happened was he came in too early in the song.It would be pretty impossible to foget the words to a song he has sung seveal hundred times  I knew something like that would happen though. It wouldnt be a proper Rob XF appearance without some sort of problem

The performance of YKM was utterly brilliant though and easily among the best of the series so far. I have never seen the crowd singing along to any song sung so far by a special guest so that was great to see.

YKM is #7 in the UK itunes so it will prob still fall short of the the top 10 in todays chart but has a good short for next week. :yahoo:

YKM climbs 15 places to #15 this week. Sales should be over 70K in total now. :D

It is also #1 on the UK Airplay Chart which is amazing. It must be his first #1 radio hit in a long time. Brilliant news. The effects of the XF performance and GMTV on Thursday should mean it gives him his 27th Top 10 hit next week :D

As I've said all along, this was a great choice for the 2nd single :D

Indeed he did. So well infact it is currently #4 on Itunes. :yahoo: :w00t:

There is a very good chance this will be not only his 28th top 10 hit but his 21st top 5 hit. Would be a great way to end the year

Sales last week were approx 18,438, bringing the total to near 75K. Next week it should sell at least 30K.

That X Factor winning song is dire beyond words. Heard it for the first time today. Can't imagine it appealing to anyone over the age of 10

Glad I am not the only one thinking it's dire.....will still get to No 1 though... <_<

YKM stays top 5. It is currently 3k ahead of Cheryl. There is only a tiny gap between them both on Itunes so hopefully he can hang on. If he cant get a top 5 album for xmas, a top 5 single will make up for it. He sold 20k so final sales should be around 40K or so. :D

It is amazing that there is a very good chance RATM are going to beat Joe. It is going to be very interesitng to see tomorrow's mids and if Joe's physical sales can overtake them. Finally a proper race to Xmas #1. :o

1 Rage Against The Machine 175.1k

2 Joe McElderry 109.7k

3 Lady GaGa 29k

4 Peter Kay 23k

5 Robbie Williams 20k
