Is Robbie promoting YKM anymore this year to help him do better because so far he's peaked at 17 and is flopping really bad :(

He prob wont bother tbh

It's hardly flopping as it isnt released until Monday properly. The fact it got to #17 on downloads alone is impressive, although obviously unless he does promotes it next week it is unlikely it will go top 10. YKM has sold nearly 45,000 downloads so far, so that is going to go against him in terms of a top 10 single placing. I wish they had only made the song available to download with the album and then waited until it was released properly in order to take advantage of it. -_-

In the UK it is #4 on the Airplay so I am suprised there seems to be alot of people saying they hardly hear it.

He is doing some show with Ant and Dec over Xmas but apart from that all he is doing is a few radio interview that have already been recorded  I wish he would do a one off special primtetime on ITV on a Satrurday night in the next few weeks. That would be proper bloody promo where a serious amount of people could hear the new songs. That is when the Electric Proms shouldve been show, instead of half 11 on a weekday. So if he and his managment had any sence they would do a primetime gig before the XF. Won't happen though <_<

No 4 on the airplay chart  ...

I wish he would phone me before deciding which songs to release as singles :smoke:

What would you have chosen? :smoke:

Btw, it being #4 on the airplay charts indicates it is a big radio hit, and selling 45K before it is even released fully is impressive but will go against him in terms of getting high up.

I think YKM was a good choice of single ... far better than the slightly boring and predictable 'Bodies'. The video is great too ... especially the singing cabbages. The only problem with it (and it was the same with Take That and UAN) the time lapse between people being able to download it independently and the physical release. It'll end up with really good sales but when you look back at it ... its final chart position won't be great. Personally ... I'd rather have the sales!

Who is UAN !!!! never heard of them ....

personally I would have BODIES anyday over YKM...it is a brilliant track........he sould have released Morning Sun if he was going for a ballad .

Arizona should have made it on to the album instead of YKM..... <_< I will of course admit defeat if YKM gets in the top 15 ;)

Spark...small bit of news for you...I think GM is on GMTV this morning with his new single :w00t:

UAN = Up all Night, Take That's last single. Norma was pointing out that the same thing happened with it, great sales, loads of airplay even yet, but not a very high chart position.

As you know, I don't like YKM much either, but I do thing it was the obvious choice for a pre Christmas release. I don't think it matters much which track he releases next as I don't think any of them are obvious number 1's. Starstruck would be a good one to perform at The Brits though

Thanks for that info Geraldine...i thought it was band or someone I had not heard of......

could not agree as you know about your comment on singles are there are many tracks on the album which would have made great singles but they stuck with the old fashioned Daniel O Donnell type track....no wonder the album is sliding down theIrish charts ( which are a pile of rubbish anyway ) faster than lightening ...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!!!!!

What would you have chosen? :smoke:

Starstruck. Maybe. Or Morning Sun. Dunno really

Is this officially released in the UK on Monday?

Are there any B-Sides? :w00t:

Off to Amazon to check

No B-Sides mentioned on Amazon and they're charging £3.89 for a feckin single?

Found it on HMV for £1.99

YKM the 2nd most played song in the UK :o

1 3 Pixie Lott Cry Me Out

2 4 Robbie Williams You Know Me

3 5 Black Eyed Peas Meet Me Halfway

4 6 Kesha Tik Tok

5 9 Jason Derulo Whatcha Say

From the chart forum

It is very radio friendly. I guess. Is it making people buy the album though?

Well I think it is, the sales increased by 5k from this week to last week and will prob increase again next week. If he performed it on TV this week I think the single would go top 10 and the album would remain top 10 for anothewr week. Doubt hell bother though
He's probably making more money from his I-tunes racing game

Yep well that is what is being plugged on the official site, nothing at all about YKM being released tomorrow
Well I'm not going out to buy an I-Phone or an I-Pod just for a racing game -_-
