Congrats to Robbie-

Announced as the 2010 winner of the Outstanding Contribution Award!

Also nominated for:

British Male Solo Artist

Calvin Harris

Dizzee Rascal

Mika

Paolo Nutini

Robbie Williams

No best album? :(

I think Paulo Nutini will win Best Male -_-

Thanks Ryan. I have merged this with the other BRITS thread. :D

I agree Jups. Paulo is a dead cert for Best Male - no way with Rob win it, no matter how many delusional folk seem to think he wins everything at the BRITS, he hasnt won a proper award since 2003, and I recall he was snubbed a a few times as well for Best Album - even The Sun made a big deal about how ridiculous it was

I dont really care about the Best Male award tbh - he is getting an award the majority of those nominated will never even be considered for in a million years, and I cannot wait for the performance. I just hope he does LMEY - he needs to open with that and close with Angels of course. What goes in between I dont really mind. Feel, Bodies, Supreme, Millenium, Rock DJ - it doesnt bother me, but I really want to see the return of LMEY ot blow the roof off the arena :cheer:

Win Tickets To The BRIT Awards 2010!

3 Feb 2010

It's one of the glitziest events of the music calendar and you could be there on the night, along with all the other stars and celebrities in attendance.

The BRITs, which is this year celebrating 30 years, take place on Tuesday, 16th February, at Earls Court Arena and will play host to performances by Cheryl Cole, Lady GaGa, Lily Allen and more… not forgetting of course, Robbie Williams, who will close the show.

Robbie will also be picking up the Outstanding Contribution Award and is nominated for the British Male Solo Artist award… fingers crossed he bags that one too.

We have two pairs of tickets to give away!

You and a friend could be watching Robbie pick up his 12th BRIT award, maybe his 13th too, and watch his spectacular closing performance on the night.

To enter, send your answers to the questions below, along with your name, address, daytime contact number and date of birth to winwinwin@robbiewilliams.com.

The competition closes at 23:00 on Wednesday, 10th February 2010 and travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the winner and not included in the prize.

All the answers to the questions below can be found on either RobbieWilliams.com or the official BRITs website, at BRITS.co.uk.

Good luck!

That's next Tuesday! :o

There's that funny word again! :P

This Tuesday :o It's come around to quick :o

What do we think he will perform? Even though I dislike medleys ,if done well I would prefer that then only 3 or 4 songs. Start off wit ha storming version of Let Me Entertain You to wake everyone up from what will prob be a fairly bland evening  Then into Bodies, followed by a bit of Supreme with a hint of Rock DJ, and then of course Feel and Angels to wrap things up :D

I wonder if he will do Morning Sun?

How many songs do they normally do at these 'End of Brits' type things? Or is it just bits of songs? Wonder who will present him with his award?

Usually 15-20 minutes or so, I recall Oasis doing an extra bit for ITV2 viewers so hopefully Rob does the same. If he just sticks to full songs then LMEY, Bodies, Feel, Angels, but Id like a medley. Supreme into Rock DJ would be ideal, especially seeing as he always starts Rock DJ at the end of Supreme but never continues

I have a feeling Gary Barlow will present him the award. I don't know why. Ant and Dec are a possibility as well of course, or Kylie. Or maybe Noel Gallagher might do it to p*** Liam off

I didn't know Peter Kay was hosting it this year. Should be a hoot

OASIS have a nomination.....should be a very interesting night

I hope Oasis win Best Album of the past 30 years with Morning Glory. It is such a classic, and is in a different league to most of those blandfests nominated. Cant see them turning up though, and if they do they will have to be seated opposite sides of the arena, with Rob is in the middle.

BRIT SPECIAL, ROBBIE

The Sun

ROBBIE WILLIAMS and fiancée AYDA FIELD head out of LA for the UK to prepare for the big day - the singer collects his Outstanding Contribution gong at the Brit Awards in London in six days.

The handout is the last of the evening and it is traditional for recipients to come up with a pretty special performance to mark it.

Last year the PET SHOP BOYS teamed up with LADY GAGA and the year before that SIR PAUL McCARTNEY delivered an explosive rendition of Live And Let Die.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Rob comes up with.

Meanwhile, brave Brits bosses have signed up COURTNEY LOVE, who's as mad as a box of frogs, to present an award.

She joins a line-up of safe hosts, including CAT DEELEY and DAME SHIRLEY BASSEY.

No way! It'd be much better if Matt Lucas and David Walliams presented it ... in their Gary & Howard get-up. I don't even think Take That are going to the awards as guests this year. Half-term has fallen very early and I'm pretty certain with everything else that's gone on ... they'll be taking their kids places.

Seriously ... my guess is Ant & Dec will be presenting it to him.

I thought Kylie or Tom Jones :w00t:

Seriously ... its going to be Ant & Dec isn't it?
