Williams to appear on Jonathan Ross

Digital Spy

Robbie Williams has been booked to appear on next week's Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.

The ex-Take That star will be interviewed by the host of the BBC show and will also record a live performance for the programme when it is filmed on November 3.

Prior to the release of his comeback single 'Bodies', Williams appeared on ITV1 reality talent show The X Factor, with his performance of the track prompting a mixed response.

The singer's Trevor Horn-produced eighth studio album Reality Killed The Video Star is released on November 9.

Williams will appear on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross on November 6 at 10.35pm on BBC One.

And I again should hope for YouTube...

What do people think he will sing?

Bodies and one other song on TV and 3 on Red Button. :o

This is being recorded tomorrow so we will know what is will sing :D

I think the TV version will obviously get Bodies and then perhaps Morning Sun. Cant wait to see it :cheer:

I think

DICKHEAD

FAMILY COACH

and

LONESTAR RISING. Baaaaaaaaa Buuuummmmmmmmmmm

:smoke:

 That would please a few people.

I think Bodies and Morning Sun and then the red Button songs will be Starstruck, You Know Me and Last Days Of Disco or Wont Do That. :cheer:

Yep, interview at the end then the performance, just like when he prmoted IC, although hopefully he wont be weaing that silly silk jacket with the pink this time

Of course. -_- Or blue shoes.
FAMILY COACH

I can think of a couple that'd be most happy if this one were done......

But, we'll just have to wait/see what actually is done for this interview/singing......

He sang six songs. I hope it does not show 'Feel' on the main show. How utterly pointless to sing such and old song when the whole point of it is to promote the new album. They should show Morning Sun instead as that is such a great song and would presuade more to buy the album. Showing Feel makes no sence and would be a wasted opportunity since he sang 3 new songs. Feel should be left to the red button with No Regrets and maybe Angels. I doubt most viewers who are not big fans will bother pressing the red button so it is important they show two new songs.

You Know Me

Feel

Bodies

No Regrets

Morning Sun

Angels

Hmmmmm. I expected more songs from the new album

Williams hints Take That reunion close

* November 05, 2009 5:10AM

THE much-anticipated pop reunion between Robbie Williams and his former bandmates in Take That appears to be edging closer.

Williams has confirmed plans are in place for him to perform with Take That and hinted that he's already recorded something with them.

Williams' comments, made in a TV interview with BBC One chat show host Jonathan Ross, come as the 35-year-old singer ramps up promotion of his comeback album Reality Killed the Video Star.

Asked if he would once again work with the hit boy band he quit 14 years ago, Williams replied: "We've got together, done bits and bobs.

"I can't say much, but yes, I hope so."

Williams shocked fans when he suddenly left Take That at the peak of their fame in 1995 after five years at the top of the charts.

After pursuing a successful solo career, Williams began a three-year hiatus from the music industry in 2006 after struggling with the pressures of fame and various stints in rehab.

He began hinting in late 2008 he would be keen on reuniting with his four former bandmates in Take That, who split in 1996 but reformed a decade later.

While there was plenty of bitterness when Williams left Take That, he has recently had a new tattoo of the band's logo inked on to his arm to show any ill-feelings are now firmly in the past.

In September Williams met up with his former band mates in New York, sparking rumours they were recording new material.

Williams says he has always found performing a nerve-wracking experience and that's what forced him to walk away from the music business for three years.

"You don't know what's going on in my head," he told Ross. "It's traumatic, really scary.

"I ended up in rehab again, it was 'what are you doing to yourself?' I thought it's time to break the cycle."

Meanwhile, Williams appears content to live quiet life with American actress girlfriend Ayda Field.

"I was introduced to Ayda and things just changed," he said. "She's a wonderful person and I'm in love. She's really broody and I'm getting there."

Some pics from the Daily Mail's site.

And it appears from all the articles that You Know Me and Feel will be shown on the show. Who's thought it would make sence to sing Feel instead of Morning Sun second. The whole point of the appereance is to promote the album, yet again the potential is not being got out of a great promo opportunity (the other being the Proms gig not being shown at a reasonable time on BBC). Honestly, his management dont seem to have a clue. The XF, Wossy and LW are all good promotion but so far they are not taking advantage the way they should imo. I am sure msot non-fans wont press the red button, therefor they shouldve ensured both songs performed were new ones. You would think this sort of thing would be common sence to them.

He's handsome on 2nd pic.

Somebody PLEASE post YT link later.
