Any guesses? Since Stacey is rumored to be singing "The Climb", maybe Miley Cyrus? She'll probably be in the UK (she's touring and she's booked to be in the Royal Variety Show) but I think it would be an EXTREMELY CONTROVERSIAL choice and The X Factor usually bet on safe choices... I dunno...

I'd be very surprised if that's true, after the amount of times TIP has quoted that comment makes me think the chances of that happening are slim to none. I'd be quite interested to see TIP's reaction if it turned out to be true though. :lol:

 

I'd guess that they're not sure who will appear just yet, we'd usually have heard something by now, wouldn't we? If Joe makes the final, the George Michael rumoured appearance is bound to happen so they can do "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me". They also brought up that Coldplay apparently wanted to duet with Stacey after her first performance on Xtra Factor, but I don't think it'll happen.

Yes, she was on last year but it would be extremely controversial for a final imo since, although she's enormously popular, she's considered an act targeted to kids and the general public doesn't have a good opinion about her. Beyonce or Westilife are safe choices, for example, because they're established acts, with great voices, extremely popular for years and who can be enjoyed by people of all ages (although I despise Westlife).

I doubt Take That or Rob would be on again this series. If they were ... I'm sure they'd want to sing with Stacey rather than one of the blokes! Nah ... it won't happen. Rob is busy promoting his album and I can't see TT performing together again until they have a new album out.

 

Besides ... isn't Sir Paul McCartney lined up for the final stages? Maybe he'll do a stint with all of them (if its true of course.)

I'm sure i've heard quotes from him (Sir Paul) saying he wouldn't mind it. I still can't believe he'd come on the show. If the rumours are true and Simon's wanting Coldplay, George Michael and Sir Paul McCartney on the show - I can't see that line-up ever being topped in terms of superstardom on the X Factor!
