True, but she's ahead of them now anyway. Happy isn't exactly a fly-to-#1 song like BB or FFTL so I don't know why anyone expected otherwise tbh.

 

Plus Westlife, Bon Jovi, Whitney, Robbie etc didn't get #1 after X Factor so.... ^_^

But aren't the BEP also performing on the X Factor tonight, they are preforming first as well which is during the time slot (8.00-8.15) that has the most viewers.

So why aren't you saying that they will go straight to number one?

I think even if the Sugababes were performing tonight instead of BEP alongisde Leona, making it an equal playing field according to your logic, Leona will still go to No.1.

Leona will go to #1 because she is promoting on X-factor, there is nothing wrong with that, the reason I think she'll beat BEP is because she is a bigger star than the BEp in the UK. The if SUgas were doing it instead of BEP.

as much as i love Leona's 'Happy' but i think the Sugababes 'About a girl' is one of the best pop songs of the past 2 years, very catchy with a great chorus ...

Not at all. A song which is typical radio fodder like BB or FFTL - I do love both as people will know - will sell itself, but Happy isn't a song someone hears once and wants to go buy IMO. It needs a performance to sell it, well moreso before the video at least whereas BB and FFTL could do well without either. Hope that makes sense, in a twisted way it does to me :kink:

Happy is a better song then jls' new one, alex's new one, cheryl's new one, just because it isnt upbeat, bad lyrics and and as catchy as those ones it wont fly to #1, Leona herself with her incredible vocals and stage presence will get this to #1, and if there is a problem with that, i dont know what planet your on.
