November 6, 200915 yr I dunno I'm just not convinced this concept is inherently American... I can see the connection to celebrity worship, I guess, also the whole weird child "pageant culture." But I can also see other connections, has anyone ever spent any time in Russia? They dress little girls there like hookers all the time, haha. Plus stiletto heels need not be slutty, and like almost ever fashion trend they were born on European runways (probably on the heels of a 18 year old anorexic girl who looks like she's 12, but with blackened makeup so she resembles a heroin addict skinny 12 year old girl, classy). Its not about being slutty as such it is about kids being dressed like ADULTS and living an adult life before they are even at puberty, they should dress like kids and have a proper childhood, stilletoes are for ADULTS Kids are growing up faster these days compared with my generation but this takes it to a whole new fukkin level
November 6, 200915 yr Ridiculous. The world gets crazier every day. Hey you guys, live and let live. If parents want to buy these for their babies then LET THEM. It's not as if it's harming you or me is it? Beats me why people on forums like this get so worked up about such things. Personally I wouldn't buy them for a baby but there you go. I don't think the parents are sick and twisted as Scott says but probably do have more money than sense. No worse than the pics of cats with wigs in yesterday's Sun. :o Ermm
November 6, 200915 yr Which leads me back to mine and Rob's point, where America leads, we just follow like a bunch of bloody mindless sheep.... Which I have just as much of a problem with as the stupid people coming up with these ideas themselves.... But the fact still remains, the genesis of the stupid idea is on your side of the pond I'm afraid mate..... Yeah, our mindless idiots are so much superior and have so much power over the rest of the world. Even the ones that make high heels for babies. Cool.
November 8, 200915 yr Author I dunno I'm just not convinced this concept is inherently American... They dress little girls there like hookers all the time, haha. Would that be before or after the fall of Communism though....? Russia, in a lot of ways, has become as mindlessly consumerist as the US/West.....
November 8, 200915 yr Author Yeah, our mindless idiots are so much superior and have so much power over the rest of the world. Even the ones that make high heels for babies. Well, a mindless idiot from Texas managed to convince a whole bunch of so-called "smart people" in our Govt that going into an illegal war was a GREAT move...... <_<
November 9, 200915 yr Well, a mindless idiot from Texas managed to convince a whole bunch of so-called "smart people" in our Govt that going into an illegal war was a GREAT move...... <_< That only proves your government is made up of mindless idiots just like ours... if we are going by your logic, our idiots are just more influential.
November 9, 200915 yr Author That only proves your government is made up of mindless idiots just like ours... if we are going by your logic, our idiots are just more influential. No, Blair was smarter than Bush... Just a gutless tw@t who didn't have the balls to tell the US administration where to get off.....
November 9, 200915 yr No, Blair was smarter than Bush... Just a gutless tw@t who didn't have the balls to tell the US administration where to get off..... So what's worse... brainless or gutless? Both resulted in idiotic decisions for the two countries, so should I assume all of the UK's population is spineless because of Blair's decision... or should I make up my own mind and do my own research before I make such accusations?
November 10, 200915 yr Author So what's worse... brainless or gutless? Both resulted in idiotic decisions for the two countries, so should I assume all of the UK's population is spineless because of Blair's decision... or should I make up my own mind and do my own research before I make such accusations? Well, I think it's obvious that not all the UK's population is as spineless as their leaders... After all, 2 million people went out and protested against the war...... In terms of our population size, that's pretty impressive... I never saw a similar scale protest in the States.... I think to match us in terms of proportions, you'd've had to have had a march in Washington of over 10 or 15 million, I saw people protesting, but nothing like the scale that we had.....
November 12, 200915 yr Well, I think it's obvious that not all the UK's population is as spineless as their leaders... Same for the US when it comes to our intelligence. That's all I'm saying.
November 13, 200915 yr Author Same for the US when it comes to our intelligence. That's all I'm saying. But quite a lot of the more intelligent Americans seem to leave the US the first opportunity they get..... All of my US friends over here are highly educated and have good jobs, they're the sort of people who would have been considered "nerds" in high school.... I reckon you lot have got some kind of "Brain Drain" going on.....
November 15, 200915 yr Author Or again, you are just assuming that. Not at all, how else can a moron like Bush get elected for a second term of office by people KNOWING how bad and corrupt he is in the previous 4 years.....? Just leaving the war aside, did you all just somehow "forget" Enron, or the dubious November 2000 poll...???? Come on Tyler, B-Liar is a spineless prick, but even he was never that blatantly corrupt..... You see a bunch of waving Stars N Stripes flags and a bunch of slogans like "Remember 9/11", and in some sort of mass "Pavlov's Dog" reaction, you ended up pressing the button marked "Bush" instead of "Kerry".....

This past election was my first time to vote and I voted for the libertarian party. As did most of my friends, or Obama.
