It comes just hours after the singer shared a stage with his former bandmates for the first time since he left the group in 1995. After weeks of hinting he may work with the quartet again, Robbie has now claimed the studio reunion has already begun. During an interview to be broadcast later this year by BBC Radio 2, Robbie praised Take That songwriter Gary Barlow and confessed he had recorded with the band. Speaking about a Take That reunion, he said: "We'd have to have written some incredibly great songs together for me to be very, very excited about the project." He then added: "I might be 'very, very excited' about a project that's currently happening." In the programme, to be broadcast on Christmas Day, Rob initially claimed that any studio work would be some time in the future, before making his admission. He said: "Gaz is an amazing, amazing singer-songwriter, I'm honoured to be in the same studio as him ... erm ...when we do, in the future." Challenged that he was lying and had already been in the studio, he admitted: "Oh s*d it, we've been in and the songs are absolutely amazing." However fans should not necessarily hold their breath. Robbie fans are supposed to be optimists ... if anyone has the monopoly on pessimism around here ... it's ME! Seriously ... you watch ... X-Factor has started to lose its credibility as a 'talent' show. Although it will remain a popular 'viewing' event for the next few years ... it is merely for that ... a viewing spectacular. I can see the correlation to the music chart becoming very disjointed. It just takes one GREAT song by a few artists with a substantial following to kick the high-waisted, mullet-wearing ... November 14, 200915 yr There some good news though. Leona's lead single from her 2nd album looks like it wont make it to #1, due to the Black Eyes Peas. WHat is good about this is that Cowell got the Peas to perform on the XF on Sunday, but I doubt he ever imagined it would backfire on him like this. And amazingly it is their 3rd single off an album out 6 months. Simon must be fuming :D
