The other new songs are struggling to get in to the top10 let alone the top 5 which leona is heading to.

 

Leona deserves #1 with Happy it is a beautiful song and so different to anything on the charts now. Shes been working hard all year and would be so pleased if her hard work was paid off with a #1 single.

Her album is #1 for the 16th November on all pre-order charts so thats great news.

 

She also has paul o grady, children in need, GMTV coming up which should help. Hopefully more promo.

 

I'm curious what the radio & tv airplay positions are this week..

I don't think Leona's climbing particularly slowly, it's just that Cheryl, Alex and JLS had mega-hits. I'm trying to remember how long Lily, Lady GaGa and Kelly Clarkson took to make #1 earlier in the year. I think it was just under two days?
