Posted November 8, 200915 yr Robbie to make one-off Take That return Saturday, November 7 2009, 17:38 GMT By Sarah Rollo, Entertainment Reporter Rex Features Robbie Williams will reportedly bring an end to his 14-year absence from Take That with a one-off performance next week. The show is to form part of a Children In Need concert, which is being held at the Royal Albert Hall and will also include performances by Snow Patrol, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, Leona Lewis, Muse and Sir Paul McCartney. A source told the Daily Star that 'Could It Be Magic' might be the song through which the greatly-anticipated reformation is played out. "It's the gig where Robbie finally gets back with Take That. They're mates again and doing it for charity seems like the best way," the insider said. "Everyone fears Rob will change his mind. But he feels it's the right time." Williams left the boyband in 1995 to launch his own career. Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange remained together before eventually splitting the following year. They reformed in 2006 and have recently been working on their first live album Take That Present: The Circus Live, which is due for release at the end of this month.
November 8, 200915 yr Saw this a few days ago. I'm not one of the 12 people fearing he'll 'change his mind'. Those people just being penpushers for the media. Norma
November 8, 200915 yr Author If he does happen to do it can you imagine what the press will write about next??? Gary and Robbie have huge feud backstage is one i can see popping up, the other is robbie says he wants to rejoin take that to record a new album.
November 8, 200915 yr I think we could start a thread with people offering funniest headlines over the coming weeks if this blasted reunion occurs. I can't even bear the thought of a one-off! I just see it as a sign of the end of TT. Norma
November 8, 200915 yr Author yes we could definitly do a thread about that i think we could have great fun with it aswell.
November 9, 200915 yr Please tell me this is not true. I really, really do not want this to happen - not even for charity.
November 11, 200915 yr He'll probably be too busy going in disguise into HMV stores up and down the country hiding JLS albums.
November 11, 200915 yr Strange that Mr Williams has time for CIN but had not for Mark's wedding  . What a lovely friendship!
November 11, 200915 yr Strange that Mr Williams has time for CIN but had not for Mark's wedding  . What a lovely friendship! I have to laugh ... it said in the Sun today that 'Robbie had been dying to sing again with the lads for the last few years' ... cr ap! The good news is though ... they are still performing separately. November 12, 200915 yr I'd love it to happen now! But I want a worthwhile scenario! I'd love them to have a fight on stage - in the style of Star Stories! Rob and Gary fighting over who has the microphone and Mark chipping in 'Kick 'im Gaz!' While all this is going on, Jason is chatting up Lily Allen and Howard is making weird Chewbacca noises. All of a sudden - Rob's mum enters stage right - smacks Gary round the head with her handbag, grabs Rob by the hand and drags him away saying 'I've told you before Robert ... NOT to play with rough boys'. Rob replies 'OK Mam! If I find some smooth ones can I play with them?' And in the audience, laughing his little cotton socks off is none other than ... Nigel   I'm going to start looking at this in a light-hearted way from now on. I mean ... its nothing serious is it ... not like Eastenders or Coronation Street. November 12, 200915 yr Robbie Williams denies Take That reunion Thursday, November 12 2009, 16:22 GMT Digitalspy.co.uk By Mayer Nissim, Entertainment Reporter Robbie Williams has brushed aside reports that he is to rejoin Take That for a one-off Children In Need performance tonight. It has been widely claimed that the singer will join his former bandmates to perform a song at this evening's charity show at London's Royal Albert Hall. Williams has been booked to appear at the concert, but told Key 103 of rumours of a full-band comeback: "No not at all. We are going to be in the same building at the same time." According to Music-News, when asked if the group would be singing together, Williams responded: "No, we're not." A BBC spokeswoman confirmed that the reports of a full original Take That performance were "categorically not true". Williams recently admitted that he had "done bits and bobs" with his former bandmates and planned to work with them again in the future.
