Posted November 9, 200915 yr How brilliant  :yahoo: :cheer: Austria #1 Australia #3 (was #1 but overtaken by compilatons so I assume it will be #1 on the main chart) Belgium #1 Denmark #1 Finland #1 France #1 Germany #1 Greece #1 Ireland #1 Italy #1 Luxembourg #1 the Netherlands #1 New Zealand #1 Norway #1 Portugal #1 Sweden #2 Swiss #1 & #2 UK #1
November 9, 200915 yr Author He must be delighted with this. The fact that is shot to #1 in the UK Itunes so fast and JLS didnt make the top 5 till only a few hours ago, it looks like he is going to do it. This on top of the fact he was #1 on Pre-orders, I will be shocked if he does not get his 9th #1 album come Sunday :drink:
November 9, 200915 yr Author Just look at this http://www.apple.com/euro/itunes/charts/top10albums.html Talk about dominating the charts :smoke:
November 9, 200915 yr Author Update, 17 countries now. He is #1 in Japan :o :w00t: And #2 in Spain :yahoo: Austria #1 Australia #3 (#1 on Pop Chart) Belgium #1 Denmark #1 Finland #1 France #1 Germany #1 Greece #1 Ireland #1 Italy #1 Japan #1 Luxembourg #1 the Netherlands #1 New Zealand #1 Norway #1 Portugal #1 Spain #2 Sweden #2 Swiss #1 & #2 UK #1 Greatest Hits Austria #9 (Charts: Top 10 Album) Germany #9 (Charts: Top 10 POP Album) Spain #9 (Charts: Top 10 POP Album)
November 9, 200915 yr My album has arrived :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: I'm going to have my bath then lie down in the dark with my headphones on to listen to RKTVS. I'm so excited!   Question -_- Do album downloads count towards the album chart?
November 9, 200915 yr Author Indeed they do :smoke: He has it in the bag me thinks :drink: Enjoy listening to the brilliance that is RKTVS
November 9, 200915 yr I will  My deluxe CD hasn't arrived yet though. I'm seriously displeased  Although my Xmas wreath with berries and sleigh bells did appear :P
November 9, 200915 yr Woo Robbie domination! :D :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: Doubt it'll even get a mention in the UK press...
November 9, 200915 yr I still think it will be a very close call in the UK..... JLS are at No 2 in UK iTunes ;)
November 9, 200915 yr I agree. JLS are Number 1 on both HMV and Play.com. I'm not convinced about the UK. It will be truly ironic if Robbie gets No1 in every bloomin' country except his homeland. But then again, the album title is maybe prophetic
November 9, 200915 yr Author Robbie is #1 on the Artist album chart though. HMV's site makes no sence. Foo Fighters are #1 now on thier best sellers list so who knows what to think? Play are the same, he was #1 on the pre-orders ahead of JLS, but they were ahead on the main chart last week. Amazon he is still #1 and has been in the top 100 for way longer than JLS - all the sales are added together. I do agree it will be close but surely he has to win it? I mean if he is beating a band that have a young following on even downloads then he should not have a problem beating them on the physical sales. I will be suprised but not shocked if JLS beat him in the midweeks tomorrow. I hope LW will have a good effect as he was great on it. #1 on Itunes, #1 on HMV arist chart, #1 on Amazon and was #1 in the overall pre-order chart last week ..............so
November 9, 200915 yr Author On another note, on Xpose here in Ireland this evening, it showed JLS signing albums in HMV in Dublin and there was a MASSIVE crowd of little girls there. Hundreds sworming the shop. Conisdering how low sales are in Ireland, that single signing could ensure they beat him here. If he did a signing in HMV in Oxford St, can you imagine the crowd that would appear  He would definatly be #1 in the UK then, but would need a new hand
November 9, 200915 yr Hmmmm. We'll see how many mammys buy the JLS album for their daughter's Xmas prez this weekend <_< A pox on wee lassies and their awful taste in music. Can't really complain though. I used to buy The Osmonds
November 10, 200915 yr Author JLS are ahead but not by much. Let's hope their album will be similar to the single last week by not maintaining massive sales throughout thw week and Rob overtakes. Their multiple covers idea was genius though and fair play to them for selling so much. I would love to know what they wouldve sold without that though. Both albums are the two fastest selling of the year based on 1st day sales, but of course The Mirror will be typing he has flopped at this very moment. 1 JLS 79.5k 2 Robbie Williams 74.4k 3 Snow Patrol 20.2k 4 Biffy Clyro 19.2k 5 Soldiers 16.5k
November 10, 200915 yr Author http://twitter.com/RobbieWilliams According to Twitter "Robbie Williams' album, Reality Killed The Video Star, currently at No.1 in UK midweek album charts!"
November 10, 200915 yr Author There was an error in the first report...........and Robbie is #1 in the midweeks :cheer: :w00t: :yahoo:
