On his birthday? Happy freaking birthday Robbie!! From what I've seen of that show, they'll get him on, detract from his performance with a load of silly dancers, then get him off again without even interviewing him. It did not look like good promo in my eyes.

However, presumably the management agreed on the performance before the show came onto our screens and, as it has had modest success in the USA, presumed that it would have Strictly Come Dancing (or Dancing On Ice for that matter) sort of ratings, in particular for the final.

XD Or it was just as a deal - Robbie performs on their show and they make the single the Sport Relief single!

As its based on shipments, JLS would've shipped 1m in the UK alone in 2009 :P

RKTVS would've been just under 2m, as it was officially on 2.2m globally by the end of 2009, I suspect it will easily get 2xplat for the 1st quarter of this year. Global figure is easily 2.5m at this stage.

The IFPI awards always appear too low anyway, Susan Boyle sold 8m of her album yet it is only 2xplat which obviously includes the UK.

Nice to see Swing get 6xplat though, the Greatest Hits is more than due 6xplat as well at this stage, same goes for Escaology and IC.

How many albums have JLS actually sold then?
RKTVS is back in album charts at 21
last week it totally disappeared from top 40... so better than nothing)))

No tour this year - he has said there will be one next year though. I suspect it will be to celebrate 20 years in music, so a sort of Greatest hits tour I suppose. ^_^

Someone at my work told me he bought a copy of RKTVS last week. Obviously that's what gave it the sales boost. :smoke:

If that is correct then RKTVS will returnt to the top 5 with over 33K sold this week. Alcia will remain #1 with over 100K with Gaga and Florence following. And Paolo will still prob sell 40K +, so Rob will be #5. Having said that knowing NME it could be totally made up - and Rob could miss the top 10
