Indeed - a very strong result for the album and Bodies was a big hit globally as well which was great to see. With just under 58M albums sold now, the new GH should easily bring him over the 60M mark. ^_^

It's amazing the drop in album sales over the past couple of years. Albums selling 9 or 10 million are a thing of the past it seems. Not to mention the mega sellers 20 or 30 million.... :wacko:

Cheers Mikey. Nice to get an up to date figure. I wish he had not have moved on from RKTVS so quickly. It didnt sell to it's full potential tbh but I am still very pleased the the sales. It will hit the million point at some stage, although tbh the official press release for the new Greatest Hits album claim it has sold over 1M in the UK. :huh: Anyway the album must be near or over the 3M point Worldwide which I am very pleased at in this climate. The new GH should clear 2.5M bringing him over the 60M point globally :D

Reality's sales are OK, i thought it would have crossed the million mark by now.. but selling 900,000 copies (10 years in a solo-career) still is very impressive. It has easily exceeded its shipment of 3x platinum in the UK (=900,000).. so the 1 million copies statement for the UK is not out of reality.

 

when he'll cross 60 million albums sold worldwide I will be very happy for him, cause he'll have sold that amount basically 100% outside of the US, no other artist has sold more albums than Robbie outside the US in the past 10 years.
