March 19, 201015 yr Author I enjoyed the performance of it tonight (especially the opening with 'Feel' ), hopefully it rises a few places and raised some more now. I don't get why they have made it so hard to get though - usually SR singles or most charity singles are wideley available and you see the singles all over the place, even in supermarkets with SR stickets on them. Download only for a Robbie single is just silly, especially as it is for charity. For some reason though I don't really care that it is flopping - it serves him right for showing more interest in recording with TT than promoting his own single for charity. He obviously would've been told last week how badly it was doing and had all this week to promote it but nothing apart from tonight. I know he didnt want MS as a single but it is still annoying to do no work promoting it. -_-
March 19, 201015 yr !! Look at the Itunes chart! Morning Sun #24! Finally the sort of sales that it deserves! :D
March 19, 201015 yr Author :o Seriously? I know I said I don't care but I am really glad to hear that - hopefully it gets higher than SSS got as it is far superior, as Tess will testify to :P

March 20, 201015 yr Yes well I've done my bit to ensure Morning Sun rockets up the charts. Unfortunately it will be the Swiss charts :nocheer: It's the only place I could buy the CD
March 20, 201015 yr Author ^ I know - it is beyond a joke, can ANY Robbie release go smoothly? I think not - there is always some problem - it's pathetic tbh. At least MS is #20 on Itunes now - if only he had some promotion planned for this week but there will be no more until the autumn for the GH album.

Grrrrrr !!!!! Soccer Aid is next on the agenda & I can bet today that Robbie is not giving MS a second's thought ;)
March 20, 201015 yr I think he was totally bemused MS was ever chosen as a Sport Relief single. I get the feeling it was all arranged without anyone actually remembering to mention it to him
March 21, 201015 yr #45 this week so i think it will go top 40 next week, so its not the big flop people thought it was going to be,
March 23, 201015 yr useless....I cannot believe that it has bombed ...even that stupid SSS did better than this :puke2:
March 23, 201015 yr Author I doubt it will still be top 40 by the end of the week - had he had further promo lined up for this week I would be confident it would chart in the top 40, but he won't be doing anything else music wise until the Greatest Hits is released in the autumn, so sadly Morning Sun will be his first single not to reach the top 40. A shame as I would've preferred quite a few of his other singles to be his lowest charter instead of MS - oh well, it was bound to happen at some stage - it has happened to pretty much all big acts with long careers - most recently with both Madonna and U2. Just a shame it happened to Morning Sun. -_-

March 23, 201015 yr YA I agree it has indeed happened to so many of the big acts and the days of big acts like robbie, kylie, madonna, u2 etc guaranteed top 10 hits are gone, i agree he has worse songs that should hold the crown of his lowest charting single but at morning sun has stabilised album sales which indicates it was worth releaseing.
