January 14, 201015 yr Author Listened to this pretty much non-stop on the train journey back to uni and I genuinely think it's a brilliant album! There aren't really any songs I dislike. My favourites would have to be the ones I mentioned earlier and 'Contagious Chemistry'. I completely get what you mean about the unwarranted criticism as well. To be honest, I'd never considered downloading anything by them until I read your review of the album (as we seem to like similar things quite a bit of the time), but after listening to 'Underdog' on youtube I realised I might actually like them! :lol: I think I'll download their debut album too, is it quite similar? The debut is pretty similar. I think I prefer their debut though after i've listened to their new album quite a bit. It's all in the same vein, just not as well polished off and produced, so it's more raw really. I would say Underdog is probably the song off the new album that best represents the debut. The debut though is quite varied, it's got the tracks with the catchy hooks (all the singles basically), the epic (The Rumour - such a tune when they do it live) and probably my personal fave, Always Attract just because it's such a beautiful track that really gets to me.
