'4:13 Dream' is just as wonderful as every other Cure album, but does not have the standout tracks of their 80's/90's albums. YHNIWYAGYI is a brilliant dance-punk album from a local band of mine, I remember hearing 'We Are Rockstars' and 'Battle Royale' for the first time and just plain falling in love. 'United By Fate' was a great debut album from a band who didnt last long, but recently reunited (new album soon hopefully), was well excited to see them at Reading this year but I had just seen Them Crooked Vultures so I didnt feel like seeing another band, 'Used For Glue' is a highlight from the album. 'One Day As A Lion' is a fantastic debut EP from Zack De La Rocha's latest project, was great hearing some new Zack lyrics, after Rage split, apart from this all we have had is the odd guest vocal and 'We Want It All' (which was produced by a nice man by the name of Trent Reznor, I reccomend checking that track out). One upon a time 'The Eminem Show' was my opinon of Eminem at his best, mainly because this is the album that got me into him, 'Cleanin Out My Closet' is a brilliant track and 'Without Me' is also great fun. 'Miss Machine', basically everything I already said about DEP in the former post, but an even better album, features the amazing 'Panasonic Youth'. 'The Neon Handshake' is an amazing post-hardcore album, Ashford would love it if he doesnt already know it, 'You Drove Me To It' and 'I Can Climb Mountains' are highlights, such a shame this band split. 'Meds' is a brilliant album, although I love it much more now than when it came out, superbly produced, listening to 'Because I Want You' and 'Meds' in high quality is just plain amazing. 'Wolves In Wolves Clothing' is another great NoFX album, really helped get me into punk, 'Seeing Double At The Triple Rock' is a highlight. 'Hold Your Colour' is really a turning point for the drum n bass genre, this album gave the way for so many new acts for the scene, and also created a great live experience.

'The Dead 60's' showed so much promise for them, shame they f***ed it up, I really thought their was gonna be a return of second wave ska, such a great album. 'Conspiracy of One' was my first Offspring album, I knew them before, but this was my first full album, with such classics as 'Want You Bad', 'Original Prankster', 'Dammit I Changed Again', and a personal favourite, 'One Fine Day'. '†' I think we'll all agree, is an amazing dance album, really powerful, produced the best dance tracks for ages, I would actually love a club with a DJ that just played Justice, would be amazing. 'Stomping Ground' is a great album from Goldfinger, of course had the brilliant cover of '99 Red Balloons' (original by Nena), 'San Simeon' and 'Counting The Days' are also highlights. 'Drunken Lullabies' is my first Flogging Molly album, and it was after I had first seen them, so this got play after play out of me, such a great use of insturments and cross-genre exploration. 'Under The Fog' is how I loved The King Blues, before they were on Radio 1, 'Blood On My Hands' and 'Mr Music Man' are highlights. Let's face it, everyone loved 'Hi-fi Serious', they sort of got forgotten about, but I had a friend who was obsessed, so I got really into them through him, this album isnt as good as 'A vs Monkey Kong' though. BANDAGES BANDAGES BANDAGES FROM MY HEART TO YOURS, BANDAGES BANDAGES BAND-A-GE-S, that is all I have to say on 'Make Up The Breakdown'. 'Shotters Nation' really showed Doherty's great songwriting, how he can work so well with a band, and showed some great ska influence. 'Pump Up The Valuum' is a great short punk album, 'Dinosaurs Will Die' is a highlight.

101. Placebo - Sleeping With Ghosts (2003)

I got a but obsessed with 'One By One' when it was just out, I was young and Dave Grohl was cool, so I was in love, also 'All My Life' is such a powerful song, couldnt get enough of it, and then I spent like 2004-2008 hating 'All My Life' due to overplayedness, but now I love it again. 'Art Brut Vs Satan' is a great and underated effort from the band this year. 'Within A Mile From Home' is my favourite Flogging Molly album, 'Screaming at The Wailing Wall' is easily my favourite track by them, 'Seven Deadly Sins' is also a highlight. 'Love, Ire and Song' is a great sing along album, every track is soo good, I dont see how anyone could not like this album. 'Open Your Eyes' is a great pop punk album, 'Open Your Eyes' is great, it seems generic, but I love it any how, and then 'Spokesman' is just also generally amazing. 'Mutter' is one f***ing beast of an album, I remember the first time I heard 'Sonne' and just got blown away. 'Hybrid Theory' mostly for nostalgia reasons, I love it, I know every track, every lyric by heart, when I first got it, it was practically the only album I would listen to. I love every Sonic Boom Six track and album, what a band, so unique and brilliant, 'Sound of a Revolution' is a highlight from 'Arcade Perfect'. Everyones gotta love Gogol Bordello, 'Start Wearing Purple' is just such a good track. 'Sleeping With Ghosts' is a good album, not Placebo's best though, 'The Bitter End' and 'English Summer Rain' are highlights.

Good to see entries from Goldfinger, I've never got their albums, just downloaded random songs.

Hot Hot Heat are good.

Hybrid Theory is great.

Frank Turner is amazing.

100. Eagles of Death Metal - Death By Sexy (2006)

99. Dropkick Murphys - Blackout (2003)

98. Funeral For A Friend - Casually Dressed and Deep In Conversation (2003)

97. Alkaline Trio - Good Mourning (2003)

96. The Automatic - Not Accepted Anywhere (2006)

So we start off the top 100 with a fantastic sexy album by Eagles of Death Metal, featuring the infectous 'I Want You So Hard (The Boys Bad News)', and other highlights such as 'Cherry Cola'. We then move on into postion 99, for the best Dropkick Murphys album, 'Blackout' featuring my favourite ever song by them, 'The Dirty Glass', true Celtic Punk brilliance. 'Casually Dressed and Deep In Conversation' is a f***ing pheonominal album, a real turning point for the post-hardcore genre, 'She Drove Me To Television', 'Escape Artists Never Die', 'Bullet Theory', I could go on, so many f***ing excellent tracks. Alkaline Trio produced a great album here, almost reaching their peak, 'We've Has Enough', 'Emma', 'All on Black' are all very good songs, Matt Skiba and Daniel Andriano are both really really good songwriters. I can't imagine 'Not Accepted Anywhere' would make many peoples list, but I personally love it, the great mix of synths and heavy indie punk, and addictive lyrics, sadly the album is brought down by its overplayed single, 'Monster' and sometimes the overuse of Pennies screaming on the record (it works most the time, just gets repetive and annoying in some songs).

95. Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare (2007)

94. Be Your Own Pet - Get Awkward (2008)

93. Anti-Flag - The Terror State (2003)

92. Capdown - Civil Disobedients (2000)

91. Billy Talent - Billy Talent (2003)

'Favourite Wost Nightmare' is actually my least favourite Arctic Monkeys album, and it's still brilliant, some ace tracks feature on the album, such as 'Balaclava', 'The Only Ones Who Know' and '505', it showed that the band were not just a band who make an amazing album and then become $h!t. Be Your Own Pet are one of my favourite bands, I love them, this album is great fun, much like their debut, 'Blow Yr Mind', 'Food Fight', 'Super Soaked' and 'Black Hole' are my favourites (I was gonna say highlights, but every track is a highlight tbh). 'The Terror State' is my favourite Anti-Flag album, and was produced by the legend that is Tom Morello, and features their amazing song, 'Turncoat' and also a cover of the Woody Guthrie song, 'Post-War Breakout'. 'Civil Disobedients' showed amazing hope for UK ska punk, it is an amazing album, and original to the rest of the ska punk scene at the time, it brought life back to the genre, and best of all, by a British band, it is an amazing album for both punk and reggage fans, and I reccomend it to everybody. Billy Talent appeared with this album in 2003, and completly changed the punk scene, I hadnt really heard anything like it before, 'Try Honesty' was original, heavy, and addictive, and this album in general I listened to about 1000 times, 'The Ex', 'Standing In the Rain', 'River Below', I know them all off by heart.

90. Rancid - Rancid (2000)

89. Flight of the Conchords - Folk The World Tour (2002)

88. Reel Big Fish - Were Not Happy Until You're Not Happy (2005)

87. NoFX - The War on Errorism (2003)

86. The Cure - The Cure (2004)

'Rancid' was a great punk start to the decade, showing possibly the most angry shouty record they have done, just short to the point tracks, it is great how Rancid can make great rthym for some albums, mixing a large amount of ska, or just come out with an album of 23 tracks mostly under 2 minutes (shortest 0.35, longest 3.39) and just under 40 minutes in length, pure punk brilliance. Flight of the Conchords debut, 'Folk The World Tour' makes an appearance at number 89, with early versions of some of their great tracks, highlights include 'Frodo', 'Bowie' and 'Something Special for the Ladies'. 'Were Not Happy Unitl You're Not Happy' is a great album from one of my favourite bands, Reel Big Fish, featuring a great cover of the Morrisey song, 'We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful' and the Social Distortion song 'Story of My Life' other highlights include 'Dont Start A Band', 'Drinkin'', 'The Fire' and 'Your Guts (I Hate Them)'. 'The War On Errorism' is by far my favourite album by one of the best and longest going punk bands NoFX, it features the amazing 'Franco Unamerican', written and recorded during Bush's horrifying reign as president of the USA, NoFX poked fun at him, challenging his $h!t government, on the cover Bush is a clown, and in the sleeve it said 'Somewhere in Texas, there is a village mixing it's idiot', also features another favourite track of theirs, 'The Seperation of Church and Skate', the album is a must for any punk fan or anyone who opposed Bush. Not much I can say for 'The Cure', as always a superb album by them, to say this is far from their peak and still is brilliant really shows how special this band is, amazing songwriting and addictive vocals from Robert Smith, it is hard not to love The Cure.

Love Favourite Worst Nightmare.

Not heard that Flight of the Conchords album, I've only got the one that came out just after the first series. First series was amazing, second series wasn't as good imo.

The debut album from Transplants is a superb genre mash up (hip hop, punk) featuring amazing drumming from Travis Barker, a great influence musically from Tim Armstrong from Rancid, and some infectous rap from Rob Ashton, I love so many songs on this album, 'DJ DJ', 'Romper Stomper', 'Tall Cans In The Air', 'Diamonds and Guns', 'D.R.E.A.M', 'We Trsuted You', 'California Babylon', yeah actually come to think about it I f***ing love this album, such a great band, I really wish they did more together. 'Broken Boy Soldier' is a brilliant album, really showed the best from Brendan Benson's and Jack White's songwriting, 10 perfectly written tracks, one of the best pure rock albums from the decade. 'Sleep Is For The Week' is my favourite Frank Turner album, straight out of his screaming vocals of Million Dead he came out with this brilliant folk album showing that he is an amazing storyteller and can write addictive songs, so hard not to sing along. In 2005 at one of the very first gigs I went to, Skndred were the support band, and f*** me I got blown away by them, still today they remain one of the best bands I have seen, they just explode with their mix of raggae and metal, immediatly after I saw them I brought this album, it is powerful, genre crossing, and just plain brilliant. 'Young For Eternity' showed a promising debut from indie rock band The Subways, with such brilliant tracks suc as 'With You' and ' Oh Yeah', it also showed that not only can they write songs that make you want to shout the words and jump about, it also showed they could write slower acoustic songs and still make them great ('No Goodbyes', 'Mary') and make them fit next to each other perfectly on the album.
