July 6, 200618 yr Author Starting this moment, the voting is closed! :funky: Tonight you'll see the results of this first edition of the Pop chart -_- and also a big great presentation. Stay tuned B) xox.
July 6, 200618 yr Author OK people, it's time for the results of this first edition of the Pop Top 5 MW :yahoo: Indeed, I decided that this countdown can be updated each 4 days This means that I'll tell you when the voting closes each time, without any twice a week chart  Cheers for the massive votes registered also in the other genres :) The best genre remains the Pop one, that had 32 voters  And here is the final top 5 in a special presentation "à la Cornholio" :cheer: , where you can listen on-line also to a minute of each song 05. Sandi Thom - I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker >>>>> http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y173/Cornholio44/Most%20Wanted%20-%20Top%205/SandiThom-IWishIWasAPunkRocker.jpg<<<<< LISTEN The girl that webcast from her basement in Tooting to thousands of people across the globe now releases her debut single 'I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair)'. The subsequent buzz saw her become the first high profile signing by Craig Logan as he steps into his position at the head of the newly re-launched RCA label. Following the success of artists like KT Tunstall, Sandi should do well with her fairly unique mix of powerful, rootsy, soulful vocals and sparse instrumentation, consisting of only percussion and drums. (HMV) 04. Will Young - Who Am I >>>>> http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y173/Cornholio44/Most%20Wanted%20-%20Top%205/WillYoung-WhoAmI.jpg<<<<< LISTEN A definite highlight from Will Young's Number 1 album 'Keep On', 'Who I Am' is a touching ballad, co-written by British songstress Lucie Silvas, which explores the complications of falling in love. (HMV) 03. Pink - Who Knew >>>>> http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y173/Cornholio44/Most%20Wanted%20-%20Top%205/Pink-WhoKnew.jpg<<<<< LISTEN 'Who Knew' is the excellent second single from Pink’s latest album 'I'm Not Dead', following the smash hit 'Stupid Girls'. Produced by Max Martin (Kelly Clarkson, Backstreet Boys), this radio friendly track mixes upbeat jangly guitar hooks with Pink's trademark gravely rock vocals to create a heart-felt tribute to a friend lost to the perils of drugs. (HMV) 02. Shakira & Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie >>>>> http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y173/Cornholio44/Most%20Wanted%20-%20Top%205/ShakiraWyclefJean-HipsDontLie.jpg<<<<< LISTEN 'Hips Don't Lie', a brand new track not featured on the current version of Shakira's 'Oral Fixation Vol.2' album, is a feel-good, summery, soca-rhythm track, with guest vocals from Wyclef Jean, which is much more of a catchy pop track than anything she has released since her breakthrough hit, 'Whenever, Wherever'. (HMV) 01. Nelly Furtado - Maneater >>>>> http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y173/Cornholio44/Most%20Wanted%20-%20Top%205/NellyFurtado-Maneater.jpg<<<<< LISTEN Shaping up to be one of the singles of the year, 'Meanteater' marks the spectacular return of Nelly Furtado. Co-written between Nelly and hip hop uber-producer Timbaland, 'Maneater' finds Nelly once again going against the grain with a colourful, innovative pop anthem, which is taken from her primarily beat-driven forthcoming album, 'Loose'. (HMV) Indeed, Sandi Thom is abbandoning us for the next votation, and Nelly Furtado wins with only 2 points over Shakira -_- Points are points, and tonight you'll have to vote for the second edition of this Pop Top 5 MW :D Until then, check out the final results of the other 3 genres , and the General top 20, so that you can see which genre was the best ^_^ Cheers and thanks again to the 32 voters xox.
July 6, 200618 yr Thanks Cornholio! Presentation like we've never seen. Really thought Shakira would of been first. Nelly's had a good day. You could post video's rather then a sound bite if you like, although it can be a little tricky at first.
July 6, 200618 yr Glad Sandi is being dumped! , I thought Shakira was a cert. number 1 :o But i love nelly aswell!
