Posted November 22, 200915 yr Ninth studio album being released on December 22nd in the UK and the following day in the US. She's worked with the likes of Darkchild, Stargate, Ryan Leslie and Keri Hilson. These are the 3 singles off it that have/are being released off it in the US: The One 01gOJvNQbVM Stronger yd5oCiqIAIY I Am kZVFaLlvolk
November 22, 200915 yr Seriously can't wait for this album, the last two she released are probably her best to date and this is shaping up to be another flawless effort by the sounds of it! I'm loving the new single 'I Am', should be a massive hit! Really radio friendly!
November 22, 200915 yr I don't like where she's going to be honest. She's so middle of the road now. The Breakthrough was pretty much perfect as contemporary R&B albums go and the new material on Reflections was wonderful but Growing Pains was a mixed bag and nothing at all from this album that's leaked has been particularly great. I Am is probably the best leak so far and Said & Done is okay but she doesn't seem to have a clear direction which is a shame. I don't think the album will be up to much and it probably won't make it to platinum since radio have all but abandoned her. If this is another Love & Life situation then perhaps she'll come back in a year or two with something as strong as The Breakthrough again. Still, I'll reserve judgement until the album's out there!
December 15, 200915 yr It's quite decent. Loving both Tonight and Kitchen, but nothing on there is properly amazing. Growing Pains had four career-best type songs, this has none.
December 16, 200915 yr It's all pretty much grown on me now  Growing Pains took a lot longer to grow on me but after about 4 listens of each track on here I'm liking ^_^ especially Each Tear, Good Love, I Am, Said & Done and Kitchen
March 22, 201015 yr finally after being pushed back its out in UK this week got it this morning and love it my fave mary j album since the breakthru. love 'whole lotta love' i cant wait, city on fire, tonight and i am. nd stairway to heaven is 8mins of epicness love it. top class album nice to have mary back
March 22, 201015 yr I really liked this album  Not her best by any means (just like I Am is enjoyable but noweher near being her best) but still a great album which i'd take anyday over numerous other overhyped albums.

March 22, 201015 yr Yeah there are four new tracks including 2 random Led Zeppelin covers. They're not particularly good but then at least I suppose that makes them consistent with the rest of the album. got it this morning and love it my fave mary j album since the breakthru. Because she's released so many albums since then? :heehee:

March 26, 201015 yr Loving Whole Lotta Love  never really liked Stairway to Heaven always found it like 5 minutes too long and just boring :(
March 26, 201015 yr I'm not really a Mary fan (though I do respect her), but I really like 'I Am' now. The only single I've liked of hers since 'Be Without You'.
March 26, 201015 yr WHAT? What about Just Fine? I'm actually offended by the very suggestion that anything off this album is as good as most of Growing Pains. She's just gone to absolute crap. I don't like saying this either, since she's one of my all-time favourites in the R&B genre, but this album is one of the most disappointing albums I've ever heard. It's all so MOR and directionless.
March 26, 201015 yr 'Just Fine' was drivel, IMO. (Though I have boogied to it when REALLY drunk a couple of times)
March 29, 201015 yr I didn't get her last album at all, but this is a step in the right direction, at least. Both albums feel a bit weak in gneral though, it all feels a bit too "safe"
