Posted December 2, 200916 yr NEW SINGLE Beverley has also announced Soul Survivor as the third single from her acclaimed album 100%. March 8th 2009 will see the release of the Soul Survivor EP which will contain Soul Survivor, Turned To Stone plus some live tracks taken from this year's live dates. Source is the mailing list. ^_^ good choice.
December 2, 200916 yr Just saw this too, it said "You have received a new e-mail from Beverley Knight" and I wet myself LOL! Good choice, probably my favourite on the album. I doubt it'll do much, but I'm more pleased about it being a single so we can expect it on future tours.
December 12, 200916 yr I'm very pleased with this choice, probably one of my favourites off the album. I don't think it will chart well but at least it gets released.
December 12, 200916 yr Ooooh brilliant. It will of course do f*** all but at least I can chart it now
January 16, 201016 yr :o Nice choice I really like this song! Same, it's probably my album highlight. She was covering for Trevor Nelson's Radio 2 show on Wednesday and she played this to close the show. Shame she has to play her own records to get airplay these days.
January 17, 201016 yr Oooh did she? I-Player here I go...and it only lasts and hour aswell :) Yep, I sort of enjoyed it, she played all the sort of artists I expected her to. (Chaka/Prince/Aretha/Sam Cooke etc.) I guess they really do let you play whatever you like! Is there gonna be a video? Not sure, she's been really quiet lately, I don't think she had a great end to last year. I hope we get one though.
January 17, 201016 yr I doubt if there is a video it will help it in the charts at all. But I would love to see one.
January 25, 201016 yr Dunno if you know this but just been told release for this is March 8. Thanks. By the way, did you ever get tickets for her London show in April? They released some more the other week, places like GigsAndTours have row 5 seats still. ^_^ You should go!
February 3, 201016 yr Just got sent this in the newsletter about the single: YAwPuJAbHPE Good performance, but I hope that's not the 'official' video. The tracks on the EP will be this, "Turned To Stone" and live versions (from the tour) of "Gold Chain", "100%" and "Bare".
February 3, 201016 yr Author I also got this, glad its actually getting released was beginning to think she was gonna give up on this era.
