I'm not as fussed with the movies as the books as I think they pale in comparison but definitely a highlight of my cinema year :P

And I think they're released so quickly because they work continuously on the project and start filming the next film as soon as the previous one is wrapped more or less. I'd rather have them all at once before the hype dies off than have them still finishing them a decade down the line [cough Harry Potter].

This! I love the books, but I can't stand the films. The acting is terrible! I'm yet to see the second, I think I may get it on DVD just to see what it's like though :kink: Luckily I don't have this problem with the Harry Potter series! :teresa:

I love both, but I do agree the books are superior to the films, although I'm thinking Eclipse will be the best installment so far..

I've heard we will get the trailer on March 12th, attached to "Remember Me".

 

I like the movies, because it's easier to watch a movie than read a book. And I think they're being released so quickly because Edward is meant to remain 17, so you can't have R-Patz getting too old and still having another movie to film.

Apparently, Muse were meant to be doing the lead song for the soundtrack, but they have now been dropped from doing it. The song, however, should still be on one of their future albums.

 

Thoughts?

I hate that they still haven't changed the date, It's so unfair to us, why are we like the last country to get this film, we got New Moon the same day as the US, it should be the same for Eclipse!

Looks fabulously tragic and overblown. I can't wait to see it! Boooo at the new Victoria though.

The acting looks appalling.

Amazing. But the new Victoria isn't as good looking as the old one :(

 

Hope they push the UK release date forward, 'cause I am away when the current opening weekend is. If not, I shall pretend that I'm "boycotting" it a week, as a protest against the new Victoria.
