Kylie Minogue has announced details of a new live album.

Kylie Live In New York will be available exclusively as a download from December 14, the singer revealed on her official website.

It was recorded at the city's Hammerstein Ballroom on October 13 - the final date on Minogue's recent 'For Me, For You' tour of North America.

In addition, fans will be able to stream the first half of the concert on Minogue's YouTube page from midnight on December 12, the day before the album's release.

Minogue has released two previous live albums, 1998's Intimate and Live and 2007's Showgirl Homecoming Live. Her last studio effort, X, also came out in 2007.

She is currently working on her a new studio album for a spring 2010 release.

Im not sure to be honest, either way i will buy it but i would loved to be able to buy a proper version, as in the way the homecoming live album was relesaed.
Would have prefered a dvd but a live album is better than nothing! i was at the october 11th concert in NY and it was an amazing night.

Very true, where is the best place to cherry pick songs of this album to download or download it in full, is itune sthe best place as to be honest i havent being big into the download thing and i have never bough a full download album?

i downloaded ROL and LGTI by Kylie but i much prefer gettting the physical.

i will download this though.

it makes up for not having a live X tour cd

Im the same im not afan of downloads especially albums but with this live album we sadly have no choice, shame she didnt release a limited edition of it as real cd through her fan site/club or something

no. 13 on the itunes chart last time i checked

so maybe see it creep into the low top 75 this week?

this is an amazing CD! her vocals are the best i have heard in a long time, dare i say ever,

just listen to Confide In Me and you will see.

mostly positive reviews from people on itunes too

Well top 145 this time of year would mean top 75 at any other time of the year so it will sell a thousand or 2, i havent downloaded yet to be honest, im not sure what to do, i think i will end up cherry picking songs as i have so many live versions of most of the songs already.
I bought it ^_^ but I am a bit anally retentive about my Kylie collection being as complete as possible! Tis good
It has sold up to 1,600 as of Thursday so by end of the week it would be about 2-3,000

another pointless release by Kylie after 'Boombox'...

what next , an accoustic album in japanese???????
