#12 so far..i think it'll make top 10, maybe top 5 if they have a lot of promo planned which i'm sure they will do.

Not having much effect on the album though..yet anyway.

Top 10 I reckon - possibly an 7 or 6 peak for this.

there are no other big releases, Iyaz' sales are declining, and as far as I know Alex will appear in a TV show today or tomorrow (?)

Actually there is one bigger release that can threaten Alexandra: Girls Can't Catch - Echo

I like that song but there were hugh expectations for their first song and I think it went Top 20.I am not sure why the newer girl groups are not having the success of GA.I am going to keep faith with Alex though her live performances are always bloody good.

Don't you think it's a bit too late for #1 now? I'm not being pessimistic but she's #7 on iTunes and she can only go so far off the back of SYTYCD and GMTV. I do however think top 3 is likely though and top 5 definitely.

I don't know. It's just a feeling. At the start of the year it's always easier to get to number 1 because sales are lower. OK maybe this is not the case this year or at least last week, but with the back of this show, maybe she has a real chance.

Six what did I tell you before have faith in her fanbase, they know the score to download at Midnight tonight and not before.If I am wrong then I have really overestimated them but I am still sticking to No 1 for Broken Heels.She gives such great live performances and as long as she has burnt that American football outfit and does not sing Bad Boys she will be great.I think her biggest competition will be Glee Dont Stop Believing as there will be a Glee repeat tomorrow.

Girls Can't Catch will get Top 5 at best too. Iyaz will sadly, have a third week at #01. :( Well, him or Owl City, both are dire though.

#7 on itunes, i think #10 or #9 on tomorrow's official chart so with So you think you can dance and GMTV should get it up to top 5 next week, maybe #6 just missing out. But it should do well because its #1 on TV Airplay, cant escape that video :\ and it'll probably be quite high on radio airplay on tomorrows chart.

I wonder if it can get her album back in the top 20 with all the promo and new single out. In the 30s atm.

It's higher than all of Sycos Acts anyway (Leona and Westlife) they lingering around the top 40 and its been out the longest, I know it aint sold as many copies, but its hanging around which is benefiting..

Yes but that's also only going to get her so far. But tbh i have no idea how big her core fanbase is. I'm a huge fan but i might not buy it cos i've got the album. Might get the physical single though. The Sats fans could only get Ego to #9 and girl-groups are suppose to have huge fanbases. I don't know tbh.

 

Top 3/5 would be really good though. Deserves #1 though.

I do like The Sats but I do not think you can compare them to Alex they have so much potential but they have material that does not do them justice.It would be great if they could work with RedOne.Girls Aloud have really sewn up the market no other girl group seems able to fill the temporary void.

I think BH has a good shot next week, I don't think #1 or #2 (where OC and Iyaz will be) but #3-5 is the most likely where she will settle. She is #7 in iTunes and #10 in the officials (midweeks) just because it's download only: it won't be hard to get Top5/3 with this gap and the physicals will ensure this position.

Ok well i look at it this way:

 

Alex #7 on iTunes now (official chart mainly depends on iTunes) - i don't know how close she is to #6

 

SYTYCD - I assume this will boost it up to #4 on iTunes or round abouts.

 

GMTV - boosts it up to #3 possibly (Justin Bieber went from #9 to #8 cos of GMTV for a few hours)

 

Add the fans/physicals - No.2.

 

If she does indeed get #2, that is a huge achievement considering the state of the download era (follow-up singles chart poorly compared to their sales). Leona had a #2 as the follow-up to a huge #1. So it won't look bad if Alex does.

 

However, i think it's important we don't just take BH into consideration. It's chart success will depend on coinciding releases. Glee are a huge threat, Owl City/Iyaz are still big. Top 4 should be a certainty though - or at least top 5.
