December 7, 200915 yr Of course Poker Face would have won. Best song of this year by a mile. I expected I Gotta Feeling to be at number 2 and where's Boom Boom Pow. :snif:
December 8, 200915 yr Good to see the best song win. I thought the results are usually announced on youtube though?
December 8, 200915 yr Yay go Lady GaGa! Poker Face is epic. The rest (except maybe BEP's) so shouldn't be in that list imo!
December 8, 200915 yr I thought they stopped this after Westlife won like 10 times in a row? or is that a different RoY contest?
December 8, 200915 yr I thought they stopped this after Westlife won like 10 times in a row? or is that a different RoY contest? No it's the same one, it's just not televised anymore as ITV dropped it. It's done by internet poll voting now. Jonathan King, who owns the rights, has revealed the results via youtube for the last few years.
December 8, 200915 yr It was always going to do well- but a good song won, so thats good Sorry, Cheryl but i think a number 1, a likely second winner of XF and fastest seller of the year is quite enough!
January 6, 201015 yr So glad the McFly/Westlife inevitability days are gone. not for long, thanks God! Not sure about Westlife, though
January 6, 201015 yr If this was televised, Westlife would've won with 'What About Now?'!!! Edited January 6, 201015 yr by Hitstastic
January 6, 201015 yr The best pop song of the year (that got airplay and charted in the UK) won. Excellent. Although I prefer Bad Romance.
