I read if you buy off Amazon it doesn't count towards chart because it's under 40p.

That's garbage right?

It's based on the dealer price.

So if Amazon buys it for 40p and sells it for 1p, it will qualify for the chart

Apparently so. There is some truth in it however, because OCC say the retailer has to pay 40p or more, but if the retailer sells it at a lose then it's still counts(or so I understand)

Joe really isn't selling as fast as I thought it would ... unless everyone has bought the track elsewhere.

The song is dire, which hopefully will put some people off buying it.

I really hope Rage Against the Machine can hold on until Tuesday, so they can get #1 in the first set of midweeks

seeing as though it only appeared on itunes by 12 and people were eager to buy it they probably just bought the cheaper one on amazon. i would have..

20 minutes without a climb for Joe.

I bought it off Amazon... in truth I've yet to actually buy a 99p costing song on iTunes, I find it a waste of money. Got Joe for 6p on Amazon actually. :kink:

Suppose it's the early hours of the morning, Joe will be #1 tomorrow I'm sure.

Does anyone know the tracklisting for his CD single.

I'm guessing "Don't Stop Believin" will be on there.

Radio did back 'I Wish', it was A List on Radio 1 wasn't it? :P

Yeah but that was probably the only station to back it up. I still think its early days, most people dont know its out, I-Tunes freezing certainly didnt help that issue

I think i wish could be a late starter in the new year when the music channels stop playin xmas songs (they'll have to play songs from end of 2009) and the xfactor has worn off.

Everyone's gone to bed. Joe will be number one sometime tomorrow I suspect.
