Don't be so RUDE, she's only in her 30s herself. -_- But speaking of Bev and 80s, her song actually samples a song from the 80s. :lol: Joe creeping in :lol: I'm not a fan of the song and I LOVED Joe on X Factor :( excellent to see Bad Romance climb into the top three and 3 Words move upwards :wub: One Love still #1 :o I thought Alicia might have overhauled it, Doesn't Mean Anything gets better with each listen for me! I loved Joe and the song. I much prefer the original, "The Climb" is such a guilty pleasure for me. :( "Bad Romance" is such a grower, it's taken me weeks to get into it enough that the RARARA bits don't annoy me. It would have probably been top 3 weeks ago without them! :lol: "3 Words" also improves on each listen, it's subtle enough that her lack of voice doesn't annoy me. The beat (bass?) actually reminds me of "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", it's quite dark, I think I'd possibly prefer the instrumental. It's good though. I was like that with "Doesn't Mean Anything" too, but I think it's hit it's peak with me now, same with "One Love". I'm just struggling to find a song worthy of being #1, it's so quiet at the moment. I know I'd regret making Alicia #1 when songs like "About A Girl" and "Bad Boys" only made #2.

I agree, but her diction is awful on it. :( 'cry miaow' 25. Ugh, me too, it makes me feel dirty.
December 18, 200915 yr I loved Joe and the song. I much prefer the original, "The Climb" is such a guilty pleasure for me. :( "Bad Romance" is such a grower, it's taken me weeks to get into it enough that the RARARA bits don't annoy me. It would have probably been top 3 weeks ago without them! :lol: "3 Words" also improves on each listen, it's subtle enough that her lack of voice doesn't annoy me. The beat (bass?) actually reminds me of "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", it's quite dark, I think I'd possibly prefer the instrumental. It's good though. I was like that with "Doesn't Mean Anything" too, but I think it's hit it's peak with me now, same with "One Love". I'm just struggling to find a song worthy of being #1, it's so quiet at the moment. I know I'd regret making Alicia #1 when songs like "About A Girl" and "Bad Boys" only made #2. it's one of the most boring songs of the year for me, all versions :( agree about Bad Romance although how odd that the week it peaks for you it drops way down in my estimation - she was double Alicia on my popularity bars last week and now Alicia's almost double her :o I still LOVE it, I just need to leave it alone and stop overplaying it :lol: 3 Words is gorgeous, I love her subtle vocals on it, I know she can barely sing but for non-singers like myself it makes the song a lot easier to sing along to without sounding out of tune if you see what I mean :lol: I'm under no illusion about her (lack of) vocal talents unlike some Cheryl loons on LoonJack :w00t:

Even my chav brother loves it, which I find hilarious. I always thought it'd be a perfect X Factor song, but I never thought it'd happen. I can relate to the "leave it alone, don't overplay it" thing, it often happens to me. I haven't really played "Bad Romance" a whole lot yet, but it definitely seems to be a song that grows and begins to grate. Aha! Yes, I know what you mean. Doesn't stop me from thinking I'm actually Beverley Knight and not a strangled cat though. :lol: Hehe, I know you're not the sort to loon over someone and be blind to their imperfections. (even if I don't appreciate them like you do)
