Not suprised at all both Man Utd and Chelsea got the Milans! Both will get through though i'm sure as both Milan teams are pretty overrated. If anyone's gonna go out I reckon it'll be Arsenal...

Relatively happy with that, can't see it being too hard to advance in all honesty. Think both Man Utd and Chelsea will also advance, and all 3 stand a good chance of making it to the semis again.

2-3 Wow what a game. As a neutral that was a fantastic game, Milan could easily have gone in at half time 4-0 up. Especially after Beckham showed SAF what he had been missing all these years after just 3 minutes with his assist for Ronaldinho.

Yet after 60 minutes the ageing Milan side were out on their feet against a rampant Manchester United side.

Rooney was sublime & is surely the best player in the world right now.

Far more enjoyable than getting annoyed at JLS' winning awards voted for by the public and Cheryl Cole doing her impersonation of Britney Spears on the X-Factor.

David Beckham = legend + media genius = green & gold scarf.

I presume AC in AC Milan stands for Age concern.

..... and  Real Madrid out of ECL. Best of luck to Rafa Benitez next year, why do I get the depressing feeling he will be managing Real against Man City featuring Stevie G next season in the ECL last 16

What a game last night  If we play like we did for that last half hour for the rest of the season we'll be unstoppable!

why do I feel Rooney and THAT knee is going to destroy England's World Cup. I put money on a Portuguese player nailing the final blow (again).

I really get frustrated with Nani most of the time, yes his Rooney assist was good, but 90% of the time he has blatant tunnel vision. Like near the end Fletcher I think it was, just about to fire the trigger, and Nani cuts across him and swipes the ball. Was shocked to see Rooney score with his foot for once :kink:

Rooney will be fit for the World Cup i'm sure. I'd be more worried if I was a Man Utd fan personally. The lad is a suberb athlete, but he's in severe danger of burning himself out. Also, I can't see injuires getting any leaner on him either as the years go by. Everytime a player starts playing regularly when they're young, they do seem to be hampered by injuries in their older years a lot more compared to other players who didn't start playing so young...
Arsenal are $hiTe :( so annoying how we have to face BARCA now =/ oh well it's all over now  2-0 down

... too late!

What a game! Brilliant! Still can't see Arsenal overcoming Barca though unfortunatley.
Who's the scorer? It's Bobby Zamora!!!

'His name is Theo and he dances on the sand, just like a river twisting through a misty land...'

Massively hyped and it didn't disappoint but Messi was certainly quiet. They might have defended them better but Ibra took his goals very well, especially the first one. I think Walcott's booked his seat to South Africa with that performance as well, what an impact. And considering the amount of (undeserving IMO) stick he gets two quite brilliant assists for Nicklas Bendtner.
