Posted December 20, 200915 yr Anyone got these? for ALL the winners Joe did 450k in one week. I remember Alex did more
December 20, 200915 yr Steve Brookstein 127,370 Shayne Ward 742,000 Leona Lewis 571,253 Leon Jackson 275,742 Alexandra Burke 576,046 Edited December 20, 200915 yr by CianS
December 20, 200915 yr I had 127,370 for Brooksteins first week  Yep, that's right. The following week he only sold 26,400 (ironically the week he climbed to #1). So the 153,770 is Steve's figure for the first 2 weeks! I expect something similar will happen with Joe next week, although I think he'll still sell around 200k
December 20, 200915 yr I had 127,370 for Brooksteins first week  :o maybe.....because the second week when he was number one he sold about 26,000 so 127,370 + 26,400 = 153,770 and i might have gotten the YTD and forgotten to subtract :D Edited December 20, 200915 yr by CianS
December 20, 200915 yr even with a day's less sales Joe is quite low.. I mean, he got a ton of extra sales from the Rage campaign too..
December 20, 200915 yr even with a day's less sales Joe is quite low.. I mean, he got a ton of extra sales from the Rage campaign too.. No, it's about average.
December 20, 200915 yr even with a day's less sales Joe is quite low.. I mean, he got a ton of extra sales from the Rage campaign too.. But maybe fans who prefer RATM might have waited for this week to buy it to make RATM number 1 but ye they are quite low.
December 20, 200915 yr Total Sales Steve Brookstein - 170,000.....that seems a bit low, i definetly think thats wrong Shayne Ward - 1,100,000 Leona Lewis - 860,000 Leon Jackson - 497,596 Alexandra Burke - 1,158,520
December 20, 200915 yr Steve wasn't released on the Christmas week though so I don't think it can really be compared. Whatever way you look at it Joes sales aren't that great. He has 5 million more viewers than Alexandra did. He supposedly got the highest votes ever for a winner yet he only managed to beat Leon in terms of first week sales [Not counting Steve as that is non comparable], things do not look good for his future.

December 20, 200915 yr yeah maybe not amazing compared to other years x-factor but generally they bloody great. Id hardly say his future doesnt look great becuase of the last 7 days. Lets at least wait untill he releases his album next year. Yes he may be another Leon but then again he may not. Its a bit silly judging his career by 7 days.

December 20, 200915 yr All this Disney nonsense in the papers is really not going to help him either. Why exactly would Disney be interested in a non entity from the UK when there are millions of more talented kids in the US. The Max Clifford PR machine is going to try to do everything to save face here but Joe is always going to be remembered as that boy that lost Christmas number one, in my opinion.
