5th - Scouting For Girls - Scouting For Girls (I make no apologies ... I bought this for my son and it just happens to be one of the most played cd's in my car ... ok ... I admit it ... I LIKE it!)

I know! I thought long and hard before admitting to it! But ... if it gets played on the car cd almost as much as a Take That cd does ... then its gotta be in with my selection!

I'm quite angry today ... just dropped in on The Brits site and they've dropped the 'Best Live Act' category! I immediately got on the phone to Gary and told him and the boys to not bother turning up at Earl's Court this February!

how ridiculous is that?! :o Isn't live performance the main display of how great a singer or band really is? The Brits is, like many of the other awards shows - especially the Mercury - becoming increasingly irrelevant.

To be honest ... its the only award that Take That were almost certain to have won ... and The Brits hate Take That (or see them as an embarrassment) What a wonderful way of ensuring they don't bother showing up!

Having said that ... the fact that Coldplay walked away empty handed last year just goes to show that outside Britain - The Brits are just seen as a poor man's Grammies.

The Birts is rubbish, record company bods just share out the awards each year.
