88. Taio Cruz - Break Your Heart [Peak: 10]

 

 

I don't think it should've got #1 in UK charts, realistically, it is a good song and very catchy due to it's repetitiveness, but it does get old quite quickly, it's catchiness enough to give it a place in my chart though! We'll ignore the cheesy part at the start of the video!

87. Paloma Faith - Stone Cold Sober [Peak: 19]

 

 

This is the other Paloma Faith track that got another low peak from me, ridiculously, but her songs have the power to not get old somehow, and this is still as fantastically catchy as it ever was.

86. Lily Allen - F**k You [Peak: 16]

 

 

I think it's the only album track on this countdown, but it definetly deserves to be in here just as much as it deserved a release instead of Who'd Have Known. Really catchy and fantastic, the 1st of Lily in this countdown.

85. Miley Cyrus - Fly On The Wall [Peak: 14]

 

 

I think I'm in my minority on this site, in that I really like Miley. Fly On The Wall remains fantastic to me, and it's not the last Miley song to appear in this countdown, this one being her most edgy though, in my opinion.

84. Ciara; Justin Timberlake - Love, Sex, Magic [Peak: 3]

 

 

To begin with, I thought this was really really average, and quite boring - but it definetly grew on me to a song I ended up loving, and unlike most in this '90-81' section, it got a very decent peak on my chart!

83. Keri Hilson; Kanye West & Ne-Yo - Knock You Down [Peak: 3]

 

 

I wasn't going to put this on my countdown, so thanks to my friend for putting this on in the car, and reminding me how good it is! Jonjo won't be happy, but for me it did get old quite quickly - at least it made it, and deservedly so.

82. Lady GaGa - LoveGame [Peak: 6]

 

 

I'd obviously heard it loads from The Fame, but songs really do get better when they have a video and being played all the time, which got the song to a peak of #6, and to a position of this countdown despite it being a tad old.

81. Kelly Clarkson - I Do Not Hook Up [Peak: 4]

 

 

It had the disadvantage of following a song that sounded very similar to this, but much better - I Do Not Hook Up was still good & fun however, so it definetly had to make this countdown. More Kelly to come also!

80. Eminem - We Made You [Peak: 6]

 

 

Jolly little song, and a great comeback from Eminem, it was immediately catchy and the song was just plain good fun - and was fantastic to begin with. Shame his follow up, Beautiful, was horrendous.

 

79. Priscilla Renea - Dollhouse [Peak: 17]

 

 

Thanks to Tron introducing me to this - because it really is a fantastic song, that will sadly not get recognised, but it has been by me, and I acknowledge that this an RnB/Pop absolute CHOON.

78. Jay Sean - Down [Peak: 15]

 

 

I'd charted his lesser known track, Tonight, but this was undoubtedly a lot better, with the help of Lil Wayne, it rocketed Jay Sean into the spotlight, and it gave him a good placing in my chart and countdown, fantastic track.

As a huge Lady GaGa fan, you're probably surprised this is so low down, but this isn't my favourite of hers, and it took a while to grow, and it was never fantastic, but it was still good, and gives GaGa yet another track on this countdown.

76. Girls Aloud - Untouchable [Peak: 4]

 

 

Even I'm surprised I have this so low, even below The Loving Kind, when it is a really fantastic track, it's video making fantastic after never being a fan of the 6 minute track from the album, but at least it grew enough to get onto here!

75. September - Until I Die [Peak: 5]

 

 

Why could this not have been released in the UK? I'm a massive fan of dance like this, and September in particular, and this is another fantastic track from her, listening to it now is reminding me how great it was! Her 1st in this countdown, with another to come!

74. Leona Lewis - Happy [Peak: 2]

 

 

I'm now beginning to wonder why I have put this higher than September & Girls Aloud... but it is a nice ballad never the less, and my mum playing Echo at Christmas obviously influenced me to make this higher. Nice enough song.

73. Alesha Dixon - Breathe Slow [Peak: 2]

 

 

I had a feeling this was released in 2008, but I found out it wasn't, and had to put this in my countdown, truly beautiful song from Alesha, and this is much better than her other ballad, To Love Again, she should do more of these!

 

72. Lily Allen - Not Fair [Peak: 2]

 

 

Definetly not as good as The Fear, but still another catchy number from Lily - with a very country sound which makes me giggle, the video, despite not being that good, really did make me adore the song. Go Lily!
